Sounds like Knicks and Scott Perry want to sit down with Melo and talk to him and see if he might want to stay

So Im praying Melo ups the drama, does stuff to kill his trade value, idk, promise to never pass to KP, etc. Melo needs to sabotage the Knicks and make sure they don't decide to keep him

That's a stupid color combination, but I like Harden's shoes. They look really distinctive on the court and close ups are stylish as well, unlike most other current player shoes which are like space toasters or look like a rainbow threw up on them. But, you know, they're James Harden's shoes.

Can we get a Morey special edition? I'll buy those.

I see Rodney Hood fuck up his legs every year and sit out 25 games and I'm just like put on some goddamn hi tops!

Melo won't do that. He isn't an asshole. By all indications he loves being in NY despite the Knicks problems.

Scott Perry was a shockingly great picks for the normally awful Knicks. Perry is a smart dude. If he wants to keep Melo then the Houston trade is probably dead for now.

Perry may believe they can get a better deal from another team at trade deadline as well.

If Houston wanted him they fucked up by not getting it done before they brought in Perry who is cleaning shop at the Knicks FO and going to do his own thing.

He won't be able to get a better deal with another team due to Melo's no trade clause. It's Houston or keep him. Those I think are the only two options.

Per recent reporting after the Knicks front office change over Perry is discussing the possibility of keeping him so that is on the table now.

Lonzo is such a pleasure to watch. You can see Ingram and Bropez on the sidelines calculating how they're gonna be playing beside this kid and they're all smiles.

He already looks better than Jason Kidd did in his early years.

Lakers going to the playoffs, easy. Lonzo looks so good and you can see he makes the players around him better. The confidence these guys get from his play is amazing. I don't care about the Lakers (I live in SA) but I'll likely follow them for Zo alone.

EDIT: Been watching the Ball bros play since high school on YT. Great stuff. Zo does everything he was doing during his HS years. I have no concerns around his shot.

I laughed at Lavar when he said Lonzo already changed the Laker culture after Summer League Game 1 but damn, he was right. Teammates are salivating on the sidelines to play with this kid.

Thats pretty impressive, Ball is a much better passer and rebouder coming out of college then all those PGs.

If the Knicks start the season with Melo on their roster, then this team is hopeless. I hope with the zen master gone, things would pick up, but after the big contract they handed out to junior, as well as Melo still on the roster... same old knicks.

They are kinda screwed by the no-trade. At this point they need to just give Melo away.

Perry managed to turn the incredibly low expectations of his Kings job into a 5 year deal with the Knicks. They had the most cap space to spend and they spent it, and drafted a couple guys and... that was kind of it?

Dude was horrible with Orlando. He was almost as clueless as Hennigan. Hope it works out for the Knicks though.

Yes, give him away, no reason not to. You're not going to get a superstar return on him, so stop trying, and start rebuilding the Knicks.

I think part of the problem is that the East is so pathetic, the Knicks probably figure they have a good shot at the playoffs.
