Wizards have their entire future riding on Wall/Beal/Porter. You might say "yeah those are three good to great players", but they don't have any assets or cap space to get anyone else. They will never win a championship and it's doubtful they'll ever even contend for a title. They're a HoF treadmill team.
They're the new Raptors, but there are much worse things to be than the Raptors.

Pippen went off on Barkley publicly after he was traded from Hou to Portland. Sometime to the effect of "his lazy ass will never win anything, now I know why Mike told me never to play with his fat butt"

I'm reading a conspiracy on r/NBA that LeBron's camp actually leaked this to Windhorst in order to set the idea that LeBron will leave in free agency because the Cavs situation is a clusterfuck, it's not his fault, his teammates wanted to bail on him first, etc.

Sounds plausible.
Lebron tells Kyrie he is leaving next year. Kyrie doesn't want to be in Cleveland without Lebron and asks for a trade. Lebron then blames his own departure on the Cavs falling apart withouy Kyrie. Its brilliant.
If true Lebron's PR team has certainly come a long way from the group that thought that "The Decision" was a good idea.
