Nice to know I can ignore Blake Shelton for the entirety of the show.
Seemed like Blake was favoring the other guy heavily. He made a pairing with a song that clearly favored the other guy, however Tyler sang better (as the other judges mentioned) and didn't get picked. My wife was furious after he made his pick accusing him of basically being a homophobe.ErasureAcer said:Good episode. Agree with all the picks EXCEPT Blake's. Really, the dude with the bow tie was leaps and bounds better than the country guy.
The "Stevie Nicks" girl is smokin hot and I think she also had the best voice of the bunch tonight.

Do it! Make sure to CLEARLY spoiler them though.FleaTheMagician said:I have all the spoilers for next week's episode. Should I post them? I'll spoiler tag them of course.
Agreed. I'm pissed. Way more versatile and a more unique voice. Terrible decision.ivysaur12 said:Tyler was robbed. The hell?
The singer apparently Tweeted new lyrics to a Shania Twain song, stating that "Any man that tries Touching my behind He's gonna be a beaten, bleedin', heaving kind of guy..."

Given how strong The Voice has performed in the ratings, NBC is expanding the talent show to two hours next month and will pair the show with the return of Americas Got Talent.
The Voice will have two-hour live shows starting June 7 following original episodes of Got Talent (which premieres May 31). The shows one-hour battle rounds will continue at Tuesdays at 10 p.m. through May 31, then switch to two-hour live episodes through June 28.
Given it's a competition, I suspect you're right on the second point. He'd have to really, really hate gays to do that. I was being facetious on that point.ivysaur12 said:There was a bunch of controversy about it, but I don't think he is. And I also don't think it mattered that Tyler was gay.
Shelton later clarified his Tweet: Hey yall allow me to seriously apologize for the misunderstanding with the whole re-write on the Shania song last night It honestly wasnt even meant that way I now know that their are people out there waiting to jump at everything I say on here or anywhere. But when it comes to gay/lesbian rights or just feelings I love everybody. So go look for a real villain and leave me out of it!!!

Glad to see the show is popular.

VGChampion said:Finally got around to watching last weeks episode. Totally forgot about Hulu. I think I'm rooting for Vicci Martinez to go all the way. Her blind audition was the stand out and her duet was my favorite. Plus, after hearing those two songs over and over again on the radio and never really liking them, I like her versions better than the originals. Plus, how can you hate her war dance.
