They don't drink tea. If you ask for tea in a restaurant in the USA you are apparently most likely to get a teabag and some luke warm water.
You'll most likely get iced, orange pekoe, black tea.

Also, FWIW, I was always taught that heating water in a microwave could be unsafe, because the water had the potential to explode all over you when you put sugar in
I'd believe it.I heard in Europe they don't have ice and the french drink babies pee.
Great contribution. 'You posts are shit'
Sometimes I get sick of the characters.
Odd, this thread definitively said that Americans are dumb morons who like shit coffee and Australians are smart, savvy, geniuses.
Why Starbucks can't crack the Australian market
What contribution did "I don't drink coffee" have in this thread?
Its the leading cause of death in microwave related deaths.
What is considered a fresh coffee?

It seems sometimes the article refers to freshly brewed coffee and sometimes it refers to "fresh" (unground) beans, depending on the context.
Real talk, a cup of coffee does not cost $5. Specialty desert drinks maybe, but small regular cup of joe costs $1.80 at Peet's or Starbucks. Single brewed cups, on the other hand, can get crazy.
Yeah sorry, I'm not trusting a euromonitor market research study or whatever.
I will bet my face that actually, Australians drink less instant coffee than Americans.
I never knew the UK and Australia were so uncivilized.
That's weird because everyone I know here in Australia drinks espresso.
I guess in other parts of Australia people drink International Rust.

Huh, I had no idea. I bought one first day I went there, can't live without it.I'm guessing Americans not having electric kettles makes it hard to market instant coffee.
Those stats don't sound right. Who drinks instant coffee??
I very rarely drink tea, and an electric kettle is indispensable for me. I use it for instant coffee, and for instant noodles or other things requiring hot water. They are like as cheap as 10 dollars, why wouldn't you have one?
I thought Canadians and Americans were so similar. I just cannot wrap my head around this.
I only drink that artisan coffee that's shat out by a weasel.
Wtf?
Kettles are a basic kitchen appliance alongside microwaves and toasters.

The average price of coffee is actually $3.89 where I live. No way will you get a coffee for $1.80.
Instant coffee? Ew.
The true way to make coffee.
Does Kuerig type systems count as instant coffee? Also, do Nespresso systems count as instant coffee?
