Babel Fish Translation: Play number of people 1? 4 people (at the time of online opposition 2 people)

Old IGN article concerning the issue

http://psp.ign.com/articles/565/565747p1.html?fromint=1

There was a board post about this over at IGN, EA had given off-the-cuff comment that this seemed like a translation error (as in four cars racing, two players multiplayer, and the Japanese just got it wrong), but it was an EA PR rep confirming, and she didn't check with the producers or something odd like that. So, could be a feature slip that EA doesn't want to talk about yet...or maybe something in the spec plans that never made final plans but did get into the Japanese fact sheet.

I expect both PSP and DS will be online sooner than we think...

Technically speaking PSP already goes online, non? You can check for online updates for PSP right out of the box.

Exactly. DS is never going online in any real way. Its a joke. The system is out and what has been done? :lol

NFSU will destroy RR. RR gameplay is too old.

T-t-t-tunnel.

By the way, has anybody gotten this to actually work? Everybody's talked about how Xlink has already done it, but it doesn't seem to be that anybody's played it to give their hands-on ... are people just sitting in the Xlink rooms crowding while trying to get connected and are reporters just seeing those crowded rooms and making assumptions, or are people actually gaming tunneled yet?

RR is a beautiful thing. You speak the devils words!

Seriously, with RR on PSP I've rediscovered the simple beauty of the game. The way that as the cars get faster, the tracks and corners evolve - that simple corner now requires drifting, that hump now launches you into the air, unsettling the car.

The design of the tracks is all about this, and they are sublime IMO. There is no other racing game that comes close to this level of evolution in the racing.
