Yeah, i've had the saturn pad, but for some reason i thought it didn't work on the PS3 until a week ago...which REALLY sucks because the whole time I could have been playing HD Remix with a saturn pad instead of the fucking DS3. I'm not sure I feel the same way. The great thing about the VSHG is how heavy and solid it feels. Its only ~1lb heavier than an HRAP, but it's also smaller. The frame of an HRAP feels domey an hollow by comparison. It's a small difference, but it really helps me, at least on my confidence level while playing.vissione said:

Just called, the guy said it just looked like it was on-hold for verification.. that usually happens with the gamestop orders he said. He said he was going to have it released and I should get an e-mail saying it would be shipped.

The HRAP is easy for the buttons--the stock stick is a Sanwa so you're good there and I think maybe its soldered to a board so it's more involved to swap.
The FS is very, very easy for all of it--even taking it apart is quicker than the HRAP--the only thing being is that you pretty much have to get a new stick since you won't be happy with the stock one.
HRAP is heavier/bigger and will be better for table play, FS is smaller but a nice size and weight and is good for laps. I still like the size and weight of the HRAP better to be honest (can rest my forearms on it real good) but if you're looking for an easy mod, the FS is the way to go.
Just make sure to rotate the PCB of whatever new stick you get prior to installing it so the 5-pin connector matches the layout of the stock stick.

Im' not sure if I am supposed to be sliding my hand around or if I should try to use the same finger for each button press, etc.

When did you place your order? I ordered a PS3 TE stick, back in December, and like others, Amazon says it's shipping soon. I ordered another one, when Amazon put up the 2nd listing in January, after the initial preorders sold-out, and that one still shows as "not yet shipped".mYm|17| said:

WOOHOO! The SE fightstick that I ordered off of MadCatz' site on Friday came today (mainly because I got overnight shipping). Now I finally have a stick to rock some heads with! I've still got a TE stick paid-in-full at GameStop whenever the hell they decide to fulfill my preorder, but in the meantime, the SE will do.

My online banking says that I was charged (pending) for the 2 TE sticks, so i probably will get them on the 24th of Feb (ordered on Nov 29th for those who wanna know...)
