I've been holding off Akishop because I'm counting the days to when I can visit MAK Japan on my own! Just over 30 days now... to some postage-free Seimitsu lovin'! And sexy pics like these just add to the pleasure delayin'!

When did you place your order? I just made an order on Sunday night for the Egret II, so I'm curious as to how long their waiting list really is.

I'd email or call them to find out, but their extensive FAQ is pretty much aimed at preventing questions exactly like mine :lol

June 11th.

According to their order update page they are currently shipping orders from 5/26, but someone on SRK said they got their 6/1 order so perhaps they haven't updated their page yet. 6/1 was the last date they were doing single day sales. Being that their cart has been open since the 8th, I'd expect things to start picking up... hopefully!
 
So ive got this Tekken 5 hori stick lying around here.And while it works fine for the most part, i want to kick things up a notch And i was wondering how hard is to to mod with sanwa buttons and stick?
 
My 5/26 was given a number with USPS a few days ago but I haven't recieved any email notices about it. They probably ran out of cthuthlu kits again.

This stick sucks... but I need it for my collection. lol. I'll post pics of it opened up when I have some time today.

Yeah, way different color. I don't think they were trying to match. Anybody have andy ideas on what color for replacements? I'd like to keep it blue.

I also, got the little Tatsunoko stick...more of a sibling for release of the KoF Exar in July. Pretty cute. Has super-grippy feet.

I was right about to crack it open too!

I'll take pics of the EX2 later.

There are some difference between this licensed HRAP and most.

The art application is different, it has the smooth matte feel/almost elastomer type layer/finish.

But the real reason I bought these sticks... were for the BlazBlue stickers.

They used that finish on the Death Smiles from a few months back. It is nice, softy feeling. Really, for the stickers! Those will just sit in the box at my place. Cute SD Noel (the only character I'm playing in the game, hur). Kinda wish I had sprung for the import game early now. :lol

I probably should have asked this in the BB thread but how well does the TE stick perform for BB? I'm not really interested in buying another stick anytime soon and I've been meaning to get more out of it besides SFIV/RFA

I'd imagine it works fine. It's built to specification with the arcade cabinet; you just use four buttons instead of all eight.
 
TE sticks everywhere this week! Wish I could afford another...I never did get a 360 version, since I gave it to my brother. Still loving my little 360 SE...so nice the way it is cold to the touch when you embrace it. My only (small) gripe after a week of use is that the start and select are a little too small for reach-around blind contact.

Let us see what Mad Catz has in store for us in the coming year!

Also this is all the parts I need to change SFIV TE stick as well as a SCIV stick from ball top to bat top, and from 4way to 8way gate?

Yeah, you're fine.

FYI, The stock, square gate is 8-way. If it was 4-way, you wouldn't be able to hit diagonals. The correct terms are square vs. octagonal, not 4-way vs. 8-way.

Just got Hori Fighting Stick 3 and tried it on PC SHMUPS... the buttons register, but the joystick does not, anybody know why? On the game controller properties in control panel show everything working even the joystick, but the joystick doesnt control anything in game, frustrating!

I'm pretty sure there's a switch at the top of the FS3 that changes it from registering as a dpad to left analog stick to right analog stick. Try changing that.

You're thinking of the HRAP3

momo, i kinda have the same issue with my FSTE and VSHG, some games just don't recognize POV-hat directional inputs
if anyone has a solution let me know
 
I think I'm finally going to take that step and mod my TE. Right now im thinking an extended or full plexi glass cover from Art. Anyone here got any testament about those? The hardest part for me so far seems to be deciding on a colorway/art :lol

Those plexiglass covers are hot. I was blown away by the quality. Definitely give it a try.

Sanwa OBSF-30 or OBSN-30

OBSF snap in like the stock ones in there and OBSN screw in.
and yes, they're quite easy to replace. Just remove the quick disconnects, push the tabs securing them in and they pop right out.

I've got some extra black Seimitsu buttons from Akihabarashop because they had messed up my order and forget some stuff. I'm thinking of replacing the white ones for the black.

Take a look at Akihabarashop. I believe they are open right now so act quickly (who would have thought that they would still be getting rammed like this).

SEX! I love the complete and total continuity with the HRAP SA! Thanks for the photo-op! Now, I'm definitely gonna have to track one down...I'll switch the two end buttons to red, for sure.
