Those mushrooms look great! I wanna do some stuff like that sometime, instead of just full environments.
Spent all day practicing faces and expression using Pixelovely's tools. I spent 5 mins on the top left face but I turned off the timer for the rest, so I'm not sure how long they took.
I wouldn't worry about time limits. Take all the time you need to make an image you're happy with.
Here are some mushroom concepts:

Thanks! I tend to a bit better with call outs rather than full enviros just because I get sucked too much into the details. I need to do better at seeing the whole image
Here's my morning warm-up, sticking in the comfort zone

I'm liking the snake you're doing servbot.
I did a fanart doodle a while back but I was too pussy to attempt his mechanical bits, didn't use enough reference so I didn't catch his likeness and the lighting is fucked.
Been meaning to post here, love all ur work ^_^.
I get these done during my free moments at work
Currently making a fortune telling program in same style. If people like the look I can post a link with more of my stuff![]()
^ It's hard to critique without knowing what style you might be going for, but the first thing that stuck out to me was that her jawline looks a little too sharp and shaved down to a triangle in contrast to her more naturalistic body. There's a bit of a styel mismatch between her face/head and her lower torso.
As for random trash fluff from me..

I really love how you painted the texture in her clothes. Some color practice:

Yeah I had to speed up the video enough so it wouldn't bore the hell out of people
The selections are done because I was using a lot of very soft brushes to set the main colors and without selecting portions all the colors would end up blending together. Also use selection tool to add extra details in some areas with a big soft brush.
I don't use the actual gradient tool and the texture look is using custom shapes. If you search for those keywords plus Sparth, you will find examples of the techniques I tried to imitate.
I'm mainly lurking until I have time to get back into arting daily, but I just wanted to say I definitely see a huge Sparth influence in your work. Looks snappy.
Yeah but only followed it very looselyYou have some decent skills in laying down the lines. Did you use a reference Legend?
Spent way too much time fighting it rather than just friggen drawing it. I cannot do lips with my tablet for crap. I think I may just stick to traditional for drawing and digital for coloring from now on.
One thing that helps me a lot (in Photoshop) is to map the spring-loaded rotate tool to one of the buttons on the pen. Lines get much easier when you can rotate the canvas to match your most comfortable line angle. Mapping it to the pen button makes rotating feel quick and natural.
I actually have the rotate tool mapped as one of the four actions for the wheel on my intuos pro. May try it on the pen and see how it goes.
ElTorro, for a "complete beginner" that's pretty good. The lines are pretty clean too. Is there a reason why you used a brush without pressure sensitivity? Not that I don't like it, just wondering!![]()
