hey guys. Figured I'd ask here as it's drawing related lol.
My sister loves sketching and has asked me if I could buy her one of those digital pads and corresponding software. What's a good (~$200ish) set up for that?

As far as tablets for drawing goes, I've only ever used Wacom stuff and they're great but your sister may have a bit of trouble with the disconnect that comes with digital drawing. The Wacom Intuos should be a solid beginner option though the size preference depends on you guys I suppose. As far as software goes... I can't help you much there >.>
slowly getting back into the swing of things.
trying for some cleaner lines/shapes this time around.
In my defense... it is true^ Never start off with "It's bad"!
It's been awhile since I've had any time to sit down and draw anything that wasn't for class :0
Here's something atrocious:
It's really bad...
Not as bad as it could be. The one of the left I think looks straight. The kneeled Cammy's face looks really flat however.
Capella that's a digital drawing right?
Yeah, I drew it in Paint Tool SAI.Not as bad as it could be. The one of the left I think looks straight. The kneeled Cammy's face looks really flat however.

Also, that pic is awesome.

NSFW (it's just photography)
I love how you render things.
I'm attempting to get back into personal things since it's been a while. Work got in the way and all...
Here are a couple things:
Just line work and a separate quick and dirty color job, about 2 hours.
This I did Thursday, about 1.5 hours :/
I feel inspired, so this is a good thing![]()
Good to see you posting again! Digging your colours as usual.
to this.
Wrinkles are terribly hard to draw. I said this was going to be my last drawing for a while, but I don't really want my last one to be as flawed as this one. This is probably the worst shading I've done since I started to take drawing seriously. The strokes I made are clearly visible especially the ones at the bottom that go outside the line. I fucked up the eyes when I decided to color them in, and I think the forehead's too big. I didn't do the photo justice.
I was working on something just now to post with this comment, but photoshop just shut down on me, so I'm done for the night.
Edit:
Here is a commission I've been working on. These are dials used for tracking unit numbers.
Thank you
I'm always inspired by your colors as well. I love your choice of skin tones. They are quite unique.
I haven't posted in a long while, but I've been doing little doodles and stuff here and there.
Today I wanted to post this:
To be honest, I started it yesterday, but most of the work was done today so I wanna think it was almost a one day thing! Done during breaks at work and a bit of extra time at home.
I wanted to share one of my recent drawings. I don't know how I went from this
to this.
