My first trip to a country where old DS games cost less than $70 in one year and a half, so it may seem like I went a little overboard with gaming purchases this month

And, as always, sorry for the crappy pictures. I really need to stop using my sister's shitty digital camera and get me a decent one someday.

$105 before tax. We also got 10% off because we're passholders. I may have gotten the last one because it was definitely the display model that I tried on. They had the neon blue/green one and I think the orange/black at the time.

I don't have Goozex (I'm too impatient to use a "points" system that could have me waiting quite a while) and with seller fees + shipping + paypal fees, it's not worth the trouble for these two games. I mean, a brand-new shrinkwrapped copy of MW2 goes for like $30-35 on eBay right now, same thing for Assassin's Creed 2. So I'm getting a similar amount.

Yeah, I spent $120 on them, and I regret it a lot. But I got $28 for each in the end (which really isn't that much worse than what I would have gotten here) so I don't really mind. And Darksiders was only $45.

Usually I would sell on eBay, but I need the money asap to pay for some games I had on reserve and I didn't think it was worth jumping through some of the hoops.

I really wanted to hate this game, but I heard a lot of good about it and I took the plunge.
So far I'm really enjoying it. The pacing is really good so far, to the point where I let a few minutes turn into a few hours of playing. Combat is more enjoyable than I thought it would be, even if it's not as deep as say, God of War or Bayonetta. The art design, which I hated upon seeing screenshots/videos, I have grown very fond of while playing. The voice acting is pretty great and it's just a whole lot of fun. I was itching for something Zelda-y to play and this is scratching that pretty pleasurably. I hope it's this fun towards the end.
