My shirts from Enthusiast Apparel came, and finally got a copy of Mass Effect 2. Going to finish off Assassin's Creed 2 before getting into it though.

I notice you're a UKer... where do you order from to get releases on a Saturday?

I've been ordering from Amazon, but they only seem to send Blu-rays out on a Saturday, meaning I'm lucky to get them on the Monday.

Yep, I'm a Londoner. This Is It and 9 I ordered from Play.com, and they were posted out on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. To be honest, I was surprised myself that they arrived this morning, as that isn't always the case.

havent participated in these in a while, so....

I love this jacket, nice and comfortable and it doesn't get too hot when wearing it like some of the hoodies I have.

4374019864_28e8c7f49b_b.jpg

I believe these are Lakai Manchester (blue), quite comfortable and they have quite a low profile.

4373266761_a61afdf3fd_b.jpg

These are es something or other. They're not as comfortable as the Lakais but I think I need to relace them, the person at the store just did a quick job of it.

Lyte Edge

All I got for the Vernal Equinox was this stupid tag
Dynasty Warriors Strike Force for PS3. I am breaking my own rule of trying not to buy too many Musou games. :lol Got Musou Orochi Z largely unplayed, Sengoku Musou 3 to finish up, and then Hokuto Musou and Sengoku Basara 3 are coming in the next couple of months.

Don't worry dude, people that dont get it will never get it. I only get raw jeans, most of them happen to be Japanese. I can spot those cheap levis most people wear from a mile away. Hey some people like to buy really expensive wine that only lasts them an evening, I would rather take that 300 and invest in some great clothing that will last me a long time.

No need to be condescending about it.

I know AvP is a crappy game, but I got the hunter edition fairly cheaply and the facehugger was too cool too resist. He instantly took a liking to my Cactuar. Also Miles Edgeworth and Dead Space Extraction (€12,-).

I don't know why, but a Gameboy Micro always looks super good. Where did you get it?

I got lucky, saw someone selling a boxed micro on a forum i frequently visit!

The little thing is amazing :D

Sorry, stupid junior question here but how does this work? Do you post your pickups as you get them? Or do you wait until you think you're not gonna buy anything else for the month. I'm just confused because I see people that seemed to have purchased a ton of stuff on February 1.

It's all up to you, some people repost everything they bought last month in their first post

I concur, its really up to you how you want to post. I tend to wait until the end of the month and post everything in one post. Unless I have a huge haul like from a convention or something.

You can post whatever you want, when you want as long as it's reasonable.

For those of you wanting Micro's, I've noticed sometimes Walmart's still have some boxed copies some times. The closest one to me is about an hour away now but when I was their last summer I picked up three for $30 a pop. Wouldn't hurt to ask to see if they might have some.

Since december pickups!

17" Phillips CRT screen for my Amiga 1200 setup :

DSC_0012.jpg

Amiga 1200 itself (no yellowing!) with the new cheapo 5$ speakers I bought for it!

DSC_0013.jpg

Amiga ADF transfert kit with a 4 GB compact flash card and the proper tools (thanks to AmiKit) it's perfect to convert all those demos and free games from back to the roots to amiga originals on floppies ;) I also use it to install the AmigaOS 3.9 since I lack a CD-Drive for now.

DSC_0016.jpg

Some electronic porn. This allows me to convert the classic Amiga RGB signal to an S-Video signal, with a toggle for PAL or NTSC output. Interesting note, it can be modified to fit any RGB signal, so your old systems can have a clearer picture through S-Video, really awesome board.

DSC_0017.jpg

Cheap s-video to vga converter. The job is perfect and allows me to display a 15 khz signal on a 31+ khz screen. Much cheaper solution than a flicker fixer for the same end result. I'll probably ditch the svideo board (and mod it for something like my PC Engine CD-Rom system) and go for a straight amiga to vga dongle to skip a conversion.

New 27" 1080p Samsung monitor for the PC. It's awesome, looks awesome but is a real dust magnet!

DSC_0020.jpg

Amiga 500 + 512 b extension! Works beautifully! No yellowing either, came in it soriginal box to boot!

NDS pickups

DSC_0023.jpg

32" HDTV CRT TV from Panasonic (a TAU) with its original stand for classic gaming (you can see the SNES, V-Saturn, PS2, Xbox, Dreamcast and JVC X-Eye are all hoocked and look stuning on that set)

DSC_0030.jpg

Wii games + new mote!

DSC_0037.jpg

Great combo, 5$ game + controller, couldn't resist ;)

DSC_0038.jpg

Tons of movies!

DSC_0039.jpg

That's all for those past 3 months, but that's not bad he ;)

It's really great, I'd really recommend it to anyone. Well worth the 5 bucks

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.

Some retro stuff.

Sweet 2600 pickups. Looking at the boxes brings back a lot of childhood memories. And hey, I used to collect the boxes too!

I loved how they used to advertise "X" number of games on a cartridge box. It really made you feel like you were getting a lot with that game.
