I HATE HATE advanced. And the fact that they force you to use it at times is absolutely retarded.

Having played every HSG title since Camelot's initial entry, I'm just too comfortable with the traditional shot system.

It's too bad that you can't toggle between the two systems-- much like you can the button click / analog systems in Tiger 08. I actually LIKE the new system for drives, but it's a serious pain when you're between clubs during approaches to the pin.

One thing I have noticed is that there is considerably fewer flat ball lies in this game than in HSGs of the past... and trying to calculate how the angles are going to affect your ball's flight is quite challenging in and of itself.

Can't wait to get going this afternoon! (Even though I'm likely to get spanked!)

I would def. show up. As much as GAF has my undying and unequivocal trust, I doubt 24/24 are really going to make it by 1.

Same here, I own all 5, and advanced is too radical of a change to adapt to it easily.

Its great to drive with, but approaching and putting with it is an absolute chore.

Also, I found the wind to be a lot more rough consistently than any HSG before it.

Agreed 100%. At least for the first two courses (that's all I've unlocked so far), the wind howls a lot more than I'm used to in a HSG game... and its effect on a ball in flight is much more pronounced this time around.

Time to get ready for the tourney!

Milkham, press triangle, then choose the second option, and select the bigkahuna's group (maybe you've already tried that...:(

I'm not good at any of the other courses though. My only mistake was the last hole where I hit a hill and the ball only went half way of where it was supposed to go.

Sorry man. There were a TON of people trying to get on. We weren't sure if they were Gaf or not since they weren't on the list. I must have refused you without realizing it.
