Samsung HDMI Ports quit working, I have it warrantied and it will be fixed Monday, but it's the third Samsung TV I've had something go wrong with. Tired of their products breaking on me, so I decided to go with LG this time. The TV has an amazing picture, the only thing I am not used to is the Edge lit lighting, but I will adjust in time.

Came with 12 pairs of 3D Glasses, plus I love that it's Cinema 3D so I can keep those I get at the theater, although I doubt I'd use the 12 I have anyways, I'm new to Orlando so I don't know that many people yet!

Paid a visit to IKEA for some new Living room stuff, love what we got so far, and it's simple to put together (I did it, so it has to be simple)

Must be getting close to a full J-360 shooter collection. And going for the LEs, nice!

Only that one version of Dodonpachi with the Ketsuipatchi mode is what I feel I'm really missing right now. Otherwise it's just catching up on the smaller titles, which surprisingly go for more money than the Cave games at times!

And, yeah. I,know it must look very weird for the majority of people on the board that dont visit the shooter threads, but I'm thinking of getting all the LE's of Cave games to accompany the regular releases.
I do make a point of trying to get all of them brand new and sealed, so I know I'm supporting the company.
Once they arrive though, they don't stay sealed for long. ;)

Not weird at all! I've considered similarly but eventually just went for all the LEs of everything, buying as they came out...even things like Strike Witches. True, Cave prices are much, much cheaper now. Prices have dropped dramatically. I have considered getting all the platinums, though. And next week I'm definitely getting the Wonder Price rerelease of Eschatos...simply because it has the cute little obscure Wonderwitch logo on it. You should go for the LE of Instant Brain, just for shits and giggles.

Have never done the math, but a full J-360 system with all shooters, including XBLA can be had for about 2K, I estimate. One of the better things to be had this generation.

A friend of mine sold some PSOne Games:

Rage Racer (US PSOne)
Einhänder (US PSOne)
Brave Fencer Musashi (US PSOne)

He also had the two Command & Conquer-Games for PSOne, but the prices are insane!

Welcome to Orlando! If you need any info on local stuff, let me know. I'm on the east side of town near UCF. Nice pickups.

I missed out on the first limited production run of these, so this time round, I made sure to order from a different vendor each time, just in case 1 or 2 of them couldn't fulfill the order. Surprisingly, they all came!

I finally got something I ordered about a month ago, and am excited to post it...

What is it? Well, it's a backlit GBA SP screen with a cable that will allow me to install it in the standard OG GBA.

Me testing the screen:

I figure I'll put this here, in case more people want to know. This is my reply from just answering someone's PM inquiring about the GBA:

Well, it's not easy to buy. I bought them from chinese website (think: chinese version of ebay) called taobao.

http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=14045909056 <-- cable
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=16536976988 <--screen

What I did was, I ordered through a secondary website called zarmark.com. They're based in China as well, but they have english speaking agents that help you order (you just supply them with item numbers and pay them).

The mod itself? Not too difficult. Requires a little modification to the inside of the faceplate... you have to shave some plastic off with a dremel or hobby knife, and solder one point (for powering the screen), but not too difficult.

The DS games are recent pickups (past week, Okamiden and The World Ends With You, we're exceptionally tricky to find. Also picked up Zelda: Spirit Tracks today, not pictured)...Adding soon Kingdom Hearts 3D and 3DSXL (blue), end July/Aug. So excited!

I just got back from an excellent week in San Francisco. I bought all kinds of stuff (mainly from Japan Town), but the best loot I got was this tattoo that I have been wanting very much for awhile now!

wRgo2.jpg

It's on my inner arm a bit below my wrist. It's a tribute both to my love for Japan and my favorite musical artist, Darren Hayes. My favorite album by him has an origami crane on the cover, and it's also featured in this music video. :)

Hey guys. This was one of my most watched threads when I was unapproved, so I thought it'd be fitting if my first post was in this thread. Anywho, got this a few days ago because I wanted to try out the Layton games:

I know that's not technically the first game, but I figure it's just as good as starting with the first one.

Handheld porn. Good stuff. Thinking of upgrading to bigger game cases myself since the official Vita and 3ds cases are kind of small.

Samsung 40D630 LCD in the dark. Outside of that it looks pretty good, but i'm going to pick up the Samsung 43E450 budget plasma and compare, keeping the one i like the most while the lcd is still under the return policy for another week.

Only pickup that really mattered this month:

As a NeoGeo fan, I was very pleased when I realized that her initials were AES. I'll have to work on an MVS naming scheme for the next one.
