Well, it's a big deal...but not that bigh of a deal. He's on the cover for NA. Kaka is the worldwide cover athlete. Opposite him is Carlos Vela, Arsenal...star(i guess) and Mexican. But, has there been any, ANY, other National team player that has had more of an impact on both their club team and their national team?
Besides, it's been 3 years since the last time he was on the cover. YEAH!

I need Lindsay Lohan to dry hump Paris Hilton so American can move on from it's surprisingly lengthy infatuation with soccer. There were like clips, of team usa losing to brazil on my sportscenter. What the fuck is going on? Won't somebody think of the poor RedBull Air Race whatever the fucks and the Pro Lumberjack Challenge?

i agree i think coverage of soccer is bad sometimes. one the england game should have been more covered my problem with the brazil usa game is that we need some goal scorers to emerge from the usa. we had like 14 chances to score and converted on none they had like 11 and scored twice. i wish they would put a goalkeeper on the cover of fifa like tim howard so when i look at it i can say "timmy" "timtim"

I know. Fuck, remember after the Ghana game, I mentioned in the US MNT thread that I contributed to, that its scary what will happen the day when Dempsey and Donovan retire. Someone comes in with, "Uhh, what about them? They're replaceable. I laughed and thats when I bailed out of that thread. Shit, in the World Cup, the US scored 5 goals. All of those goals came from our amazing strik...err, MIDFIELDERS! None of our strikers scored. 3 of the goals came form the guy most, USMNT fans included, loved to shit talk about: Donovan.

I second the Howard nod for a Fifa cover. Considering our defense, that guy is probably the best goalkeeper in the world.

FINALLY someone who gets it.............most goals come from midfielders but u need forwards to wear down defenses there are only a hand full of pure forwards who score from there natural position to bad for usa we don't have one of them and your damn right about Dempsey and Donovan theres a reason why epl teams are opening there check books for Donovan and Dempsey making good money and time at Fulham.
