Went a bit crazy at Half Price Books, what with a coupon and gift card I had.
-Been wanting Maus for a long time, not sure why I didn't get it before.
-Never thought I'd find a copy of Nuklear Age in a Half Price, as it's written by a webcomic guy (8-bit theater at NuklearPower.com) so I figured it was a little too niche.
-I've heard great things about the China Mieville books, now I just need to find a hardcover version of Perdido Street Station that matches these two so I can get started (I'm anal about stuff on my bookshelf matching
).
-Inventing Japan and Tokyo: City and Architecture are to go along with my study of the language and so I can get a bit more realistic exposure to the culture than what I get from anime :lol.
-Already had a copy of Dragons of Summer Flame, but that was a big hardcover and the copies of the three Chronicles books I have to go with it are paperback, so I had to match them.
- I got Awakened Mage and Innocent Mage almost solely because I thought the cover art was pretty cool. They were cheap enough, won't be a big loss even if I don't like them.
-The X-Com disc has UFO Defense, Terror from the Deep, and Apocalypse on it, and it was only $3.98. Not a bad deal, though I think you can get at least the first two for free online.
::edit::
angelfly's post reminded me that I also got My Japanese Coach recently, to go with the copy of Remembering the Kanji I got a few months ago. Too lazy to go pull out the camera just for that, though.
