This is so friggin awesome. Any higher res?
Sorry, I was trying to catch up on sleep after getting very little over the past few days. Camping out for exclusives sucks. Anyway, preview albums from Wednesday through Friday as well as random highlights:
Also my twitter feed talk about World Cosplay Summit, sounds like a big deal (200k+ likes on fb) who happened this week-end in Japan. Russian team won with a couple of Zelda cosplays (Link from TP and Zero Suit Samus as regular costumes and Possessed Zelda/Magic Armor Link from TP in a performance on stage).
I'm not a specialist, I would like to ear more about this kind of events!
It's exactly what it sounds like, an international cosplay competition hosted in Japan. Each participating country (~20 now) hosts a preliminary round at a local convention and sends the winner of that compo to Japan.
It's fun and all, but pretty biased. Japan always gets to send in 2 teams as the organizing nation, and the judging is based on... no clue. There are guidelines but often things make no sense at all. It's fun to watch though, and the participating cosplayers always seem to greatly enjoy themselves.
Thanks.
Early days of an international competition then. It's hard to do. Same as eSports, everyone try to do his thing in his area but can't be helped without sufficient resources. Olympics Games and FIFA World Cup took literally a century to achieve.

I don't want to spam about her but I'm pretty happy because Nintendo of America CM finally resposted a pic of Tatasenko's new Wii U Link

France was kinda badly represented, especially if Zelda cosplays won and especially with Tatasenko Mana just up there
The mannequin in the background freaked me out for a second
This is amazing.
Anyone going to Otakon? I'm going there tomorrow but probably won't be seen until Saturday, as Orange Star High School Gohan =|

Prepare for trouble? Maybe? LolWow. I have to admit I don't know the character; who is it?

Incredible.
What character is she cosplaying? I seems so familiar. Buy I can't remember from where.
Reminds me a bit of a female Laharl, but I don't think that is the character I'm thinking of.
Otakon was fun. Nice change of pace since I could focus more on seeing new faces from the east coast. Will likely return next year. Time for the preview albums and some highlights!
Incredible.
I kind of hate myself for knowing this, but I think that's the squirtle gang from the old Pokemon show.
I spent the longest time trying to figure out which Zelda character this guy was cosplaying as
Why is that coming up as my post? The rest of you guys ARE seeing a Sam Fisher cosplay in that post right?
Love the Shanoa cosplay too. She has such a cool character design... wish she had another game and more cosplays/fan arts around!
Who is this!? I must follow her and see what else she's done.
I thought the same thing, but still doubt myself.

Which Zaku is this?
