So the Montreal convention season started last weekend, so I got busy photographing at its first half: Otakuthon, occuring at the same time as Anime Revolution for this year but on the opposite coast of Canada (which is to say the East). 'twas fun as usual, though it was the con's most crowded year yet (that the convention center was also double-booked for some jewelry expo at the same time which was cockblocking out some of the usual dealer's room space of previous years really didn't help matters at all).
Anyhoo, next half is the Montreal Comiccon in about three weeks at the same center; my prediction is that if I thought the Otakuthon crowd this year was messy, then I'm expecting (to paraphrase David Tennant) hell to be descending on Sunday because of Matt Smith.
