Oh really? I was just going by eye on the pic. I still remember rolling the cords on my old NES controllers.

Yep, USA Dogbones are an almost acceptable length. The AV Famicom came with two, but the cords are the shortest of any Japanese system I've got. I measured, and even PC Engine cords have a good 6 inches on them. I've seen a lot of people say they have a CIB AV Famicom, but only have one.

The USA versions, of course, make no mention of the "Family Computer." They're labeled NES CONTROLLER Model No. NES-039.
By far one of my favorite controllers though. I adore these things.
