Reality is stranger than fiction...sadly in this caseLikely going to jump in House of Cards with my wife next. Seems a logical thing to watch given the current inanity of the 2016 election.

Anyone watch Baskin?
I usually try to catch most of the decent horror movies that hit Netflix, and this one... it's up there.
There isn't much escalation in terms of plot or conflict. There isn't much character development to speak of. It's really not even clear what's going on, entirely. None of those things really matter for a good horror movie, and Baskin is a great example of that.
The antagonist is on the level of some of the creepier ones I've seen, kind of like the cult leader in Poltergeist 2.
"Cary's a filmmaker I really want to work with - and working with Emma again... that's a very attractive thing to be part of."
Hill and Stone will also serve as executive producers on the project, something which he says was part of the appeal as well.
"Writing and directing is the ultimate expression of [creative control]," he added. "That's where I want to put a lot of my time and effort into. Being a director is the only true way to control what ends up on the screen."
Netflix has given the greenlight to Friends From College, an ensemble comedy featuring Keegan-Michael Key and Cobie Smulders.
The half-hour series hails from the husband-and-wife team of Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco. The story revolves around a group of friends who attended Harvard together and are now in their 40s, experiencing varying degrees of success in their personal and professional lives. Stoller and Delbanco, who are both Harvard alums, are writing and exec producing the series, with Stoller also set to direct all eight episodes.
The cast also includes Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage and Jae Suh Park.
Thats Shane Black for ya.Lethal Weapon 1 and Lethal Weapon 2. Now I know what I've been missing out on all these years. Damn fine action/comedy flicks.
