I've always heard good things about Fringe, but 100 episodes in two weeks is just way too much.

Is their any chance it'll come back? I remember Doc Martin getting an "expiration" date as well, but it ended up staying on.

It disappeared from the Canada side back in January, so it's very possible that it could expire.

I've seen on other lists that Full Metal Jacket and the Jurassic Park movies are leaving this month. Did the contracts for those movies get renewed or something?

The Last Kingdom.... mostly sucks. I recall some folks tried to say this show was better than Vikings.

Hold on a minute while I choke on my laughter.

All that said, I did watch the whole season. There are some positives with TLK, but overall it's kinda bad.

I watched the first episode last night, didn't really grab me.

Started Bojack Horseman, midway s2. I like it overall, but it's not so consistent. There's great eps like 'After the Party', exploring love across the main characters, but that level is only reached sometimes. I think the final few eps of s1 were my favorites so far.

Soo, what do i need to watch 1080p streams from Netflix?
Don't tell me 1080p requires the top-tier subscription, i assumed UltraHD stood for 2k or higher quality and picked the middle option with HD.

Edge lacks extension support still apparently, not to mention the extensions i need (namely something that allows me to add English subtitles since those aren't an option here in Finland) probably would take a bit of time to appear anyway. And doesn't work properly anyway for some reason (extremely choppy stream, no idea why, nothing i could to fix this).
Chrome apparently cannot display 1080p stream, not that it even shows 720p despite having stream quality set to best and having more than enough internet speed and bandwidth.

Does Xbox 360 Netflix have 1080p option and does the app still require XBL subscription?
Not that this would solve the lack of English subtitles even if it does offer 1080p stream.


Fortunate the trial month is free, because as it is, i really really don't want to pay for this. Not good enough for this hassle and lack of options without an extension.

Figures. A thing i'd rather not do, use the Windows store (a matter of principle). Don't suppose it allows adding custom subtitles to use English subs (or no subs, since that isn't always an option either)? If it does, i guess i'll try it.

Probably should also investigate if i can use a DVR-thingy to use Netflix, i think it allows for Netflix account linking. Certainly it allows for HBO Nordic.

What do you use for adding custom subtitles? Is it that Super Netflix thing or do you have something else?

But as for your answer for 1080p on a Windows PC is use the Netflix app from the Windows store. It is a free app and is easy to set up, and you can even just set a shortcut to it on your desktop/taskbar, so it is easy to get to, but as far as I know it won't allow for external subtitles. You say Edge isn't allowing for 1080p, so maybe try Internet Explorer? It is installed on Win 10 machines for legacy issues, you just gotta search for it (click the start button and start typing Internet Explorer).

So Orange is the New Black. I really enjoyed the first two seasons, but the first few episodes of season 3 did nothing for me. Should I push on through or does the series continue on a downward spiral?

Edit - I would skip through season three if you didn't like it. Maybe watch the recap trailers or read up on what happens.

Super Netflix, yeah.

And Edge's problem is that is so choppy it is unwatchable. Unsure if it showed 1080p stream.

I started the show Legit randomly today. Went into this blind. Didn't know what it was about or who starred in it.

I ended up binging the first season. I loved it. I thought it was hilarious. The characters were charming in their unique ways. The show isn't politically correct in any stretch of the imagination, but that is why I loved it so much. Jim Jefferies' humor lends well here.

The show Black Sails is a prequel to Treasure Island and is very good it is on Amazon in the UK not sure about other countries.

Can't get details because I'm on my phone, but the creator of OITNB is working on a new show for Netflix called GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) starring Alison Brie. It will be set in the 1980s, apparently.

Been wanting to watch this, it is available in 176 countries, but guess what I'm in Germany.

Only an hour and a half from Luxembourg, maybe I can find a hotel w/ good internet and binge it. :p

Ahaha, of course it is on Maxdome. They have a trial month you could use. If you're lucky, they might even send you a code for another free month later. They also offer special deals if you try to cancel.
They actually have a lot of content, even quite a few great shows and movies, it's a shame their interface and player suck so much.

Is it dubbed on there though? I know most services here dub everything w/ no option for the OV. Reason I haven't rented a ton of stuff off of PSN on my Germany account.

In case of Black Sails, S1 is German-only, S2 is German/English.

Damn, Quantico was quite good. I wasn't a huge fan of method the story was told, but it I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I was just reading the premise of the second season. I hope it takes a different approach.

Apparently this has Mark Hamill and Keith David, and is directed by veteran voice actor Charlie Adler. Looks like a Saturday Morning type cartoon, might check it out with my kids.

And just saw Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell is up on Netflix. Been waiting forever to watch that.
