Well this trailer premiered on TRL today when Katie Holmes was the guest and showed a lot of great footage.

Well nice of you to go through all the trouble to tell us about it. Now why don't you find us a link to the trailer.

LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.

Batman Begins is worth me opening up IE to play this video.

Damn, I swear, I haven't been this excited about a movie since... well, The Phantom Menace to be honest, but this one's going to be truly worth the wait!

I love that little expression on Morgan Freeman's face when he talks about the Tumbler. Priceless.

I can't wait to see more of Cillian Murphy too. The little bit of him here was excellent. I think he's gonna be a really sweet villain.

jumper nipples in superhero movies are the new bush shots.

Dunst rules the jipper nipple roost, but Holmes wants in!

looking good, didnt like the bat-mobile 'jump', hopefully the obligitory chase scene wont be like I,Robot chase scene.

I think MTV may have just added the full length trailer instead of the old one.

Least I don't recall the first minute or two of this trailer at all, and Kate holmes doesn't appear until halfway through in this version.

You are correct. They've updated the trailer, it's basically the old one with another minute of footage before it. Sweet deal.

That was really wicked. I've never been psyched about a Batman movie.

Then again, I was one of the few people who thought that "Forever" was a pretty good flick when it came out.

SpeedingUptoStop

will totally Facebook friend you! *giggle* *LOL*
It's getting to one of those elite levels where you know it's guaranteed gonna kick ass months before it comes out. I can't wait.

The quicktime version of the trailer deserves its own thread.

Movie looks badass...just two things nagged me:

1.- I hope Katie Holmes dies within the first 5 minuts of the film.

2.- The music sucked, big time, even moreso compared to Danny Elfman's stuff. Sounds like your typical Hans Zimmer(one of BB's composer) soundtrack, so the trailer's music is probably straight from BB's soundtrack. Disappointing...

Why was Hans Zimmer brought in?

That seems like maybe the soundtrack is not going so well when they bring in other composers (Troy and Mission: Impossible 2 both had this problem also).

Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard have always been attached to Batman Begins, Zimmer didn't show up two weeks before the film was done, unlike James Horner in Troy. :p Danny Elfman wasn't even approached, Nolan just wanted to cut off all ties with the Burton films. A shame...but maybe Elfman's Batman theme wasn't right for the tone of this film, too early to judge, really, but I'm not liking what I heard in the trailer.

I'm just gonna say that Danny Elfman's Batman theme rocked and will forever be known, for me atleast, as THE Batman theme. That said, this movie looks a whole lot better then any of the previous Batman movies. Tho I wouldn't mind seeing another Burton film with today's special FX and stuff. (But there might be the problem that he'd prolly cast Johnny Depp as Batman... =P)

Looks good -- I definitely like the back to the basics Batman approach and it looks like the Scarecrow is going to be a cool villain. That said, I don't like Katie Holmes, the Batmobile, Morgan Freeman, or the theme, but hey, it's only a 60 second trailer and they could sell me in the end. Besides, it's got Ken Watanabe (sp). Goodies.

Though Christian Bale already said that the burton films did somethin right. Burton's batman was his own vision of the caped crusader. Nolan's doing his own thing.

I like the trippy mind-f*ck things they're doing with Scarecrow. Fire-breathing horse and squirming mask and whatnot. But for God's sake, do they have to shoehorn a romance angle into every Batman movie? Please tell me they don't linger on that crap too much.

Oh, and everyone knows that there's only ONE true Batman theme. Guess which one I'm referring to.
