Oh, I will feel bad for Schmidt when both Elizabeth and Cece unleash hell. But at the same time, he brought it on himself.

It's incredibly skeezy. I get that's it sort of within Schmidt's personality, but it feels fairly deplorable, even for him. It also doesn't feel like the situation is heightened enough where it's ridiculous and there's more humor to be mined from it.

I dunno. Didn't like it in the last episode. Hated it more here. Wish more of the episode was Jess dancing in a toilet.

It happens with most people I tell to watch the show.

So you agree Nick is the best character right?

#TeamNick

I like Schmidt the best.
We were both fat at one time ;___;

But I think I'm more like Nick. Winston is barely there, it sucks. I think the reason they're doing the Jess/Nick thing is so they can pair Winston and Schmidt for more episodes.

I'm glad they toned down Jessica's character.

Oh, and confirmation: Daisy is a bitch. So is Schmidt. I can't wait for this to all blow up in Schmidt's face.

I was hoping for more Brenda Song.. but not like this New Girl Writers.. Not like this... :(

BUT I'm still holding out that maybe she was only acting that way because Winston was a complete mess and that maybe they can figure it out, though it's not likely considering Dads (I REALLY would like to see that show gone.. well maybe not gone but completely retooled into something funny so people don't lose work).

As for Schmidt.. I found his situation tonight fairly funny despite the overused scenario. His thinking on his feet was entertaining and the way they had him avoid having it blow up was funny as well. I'd like to see it resolved in a heartfelt way rather than having it actually blow up and result in a single Schmidt again because.. well.. we've already traversed that ground.

Jess and Nick were the unsung heroes of this ep though. Good comedy (great guest stars) and they handled the romance aspect without hamming it up. Much better second ep.

Daisy. Why? Why, Daisy?

And Winston. Oh my god Winston. "Got yer cat!"

Schmidt, this is gonna end in tears. Tears of laughter when they both find out. Just pick one! Wait, it's pretty much too late for that. I wonder how long he's gonna be able to keep it going.

I can't tell if it's funny or sad, honestly. That whole scene wasn't ridiculous enough to make me pity Schmidt.

It's also pretty much impossible for me to have a negative opinion of Eva Amurri because god damn

You're probably not supposed to. Her and Schmidt's feud has some serious potential, given his character's current trajectory doesn't have much wiggle room.

That's assuming she shows up again. Which she should.

I don't understand everyone's fascination with Winston. He can be funny but his storylines are becoming more and more forced each week as if the writers ran out of ideas after planning the treatment for the other characters. Last episode he was childlike in his obsession with puzzles but turned out to be color-blind and horrible at them. This week he tried to kill a cat because he thinks his girlfriend - with whom he still cant' speak without stuttering - is cheating on him. I know it's just a silly sitcom but his character really needs to improve in my opinion.

Yeah, Winston isn't really fleshed out IMO.

I almost didn't recognize it as Susan Sarandon's daughter this episode - I kept thinking it was Katharine Isbelle. They do look kind of similar.

Then I realized who it was, and man I wish that muffin shop was open.

Yeah I know her from Californication, if you like her in New Girl then you should watch the season with her in it, oh my! *faints*

Had no idea she was Susan Sarandon's daughter.

Anyway, I liked the episode. Lots of laughs as usual. Schmidt's just helpless look when it was all gonna blow up in his face was priceless. :lol

Nick is the best though.

A good episode, I thought it was funny they used the Dawson's Creek song given the new teacher is the woman from Apartment 23 which has Dawson in it.

Are thenewno2 famous in America? It seemed odd to have their logo on the fridge with no name, I can't imagine many people would know what it was.

It's on my Netfllix watchlist. That's been one of those shows I've been meaning to watch for years now. Netflix will make it happen :p

Some people made me believe that it's a good replacement for the void that Entourage left. I can only hope.

I can't believe some of you are hating on Winston. He's killing it so far this season. His character has improved so much since the middle of last season.

Marathoned both Season 1 and Season 2 (and caught up with the 2 from Season 3) and I am SO pissed off that I wrote this show off initially. This show is fantastic. Both Sad and glad I can watch weekly now (there is something exciting and fun about having 50 episodes ahead of you that you can watch at any time).

Anyone else feel like Jess is the weak link in this show?

I just started watching last week and caught up with the episode that aired tonight; she is by far the least enjoyable part of the show for me. Nick is just her bitch now, and Winston's been relegated to an even more minor role.

So unhappy with tonight's episode.
I love Schmidt and CeCe so much
, dunno why the writers did that.

Winston is the odd man out but I dunno, I'm usually laughing when he's on screen.

Because they want us to suffer through the reconciliation which will take 2 seasons.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Winston. The restaurant scene tonight plus the puzzle and the cat noose? He's hilarious, but I feel like the show doesn't bother doing much with him.

I can't take a long reconciliation. I need those 2 in my life.

Great great great scenes tonight. Nick and Jess in bed with Cece there, and then Nick and Schmidt. "In your tiny brain, how do you see this ending?" "I see this ending badly."

ROFLMAO

Wasn't as funny as ep 2 but it was ok. I hope they resolve Schmidt and Cece so we can have Schmidt go back to his usual ways. I'm not liking Nick as much this season. I give him one more episode. If he's still stale, break him and Jess up!

Winston is the weak link? No. Nope.

I liked tonight's episode a lot. The rapport between all of them is great. My only problem with the episode was Schmidt's vendetta at the end. It made no sense. He took ownership finally of what he was doing and then passed the blame on to others? Didn't work for me. I was also really upset that I didn't get to see Winston share a plate of pasta with the cat.
