None of those upgrades will have much or anything to do with improving the game's framerate. Your gpu however will be more than enough, if your processor is decent than you're golden.

The word bullshot has lost it's meaning. This looks 100% ingame, I don't see anything that would make them bullshots.

If it's anything like GTA4, it'll be moddable up the wazoo. So even if they don't include a slider, someone will figure out how to up the density.

These are very clearly not bullshots, all the imperfections are visible. Game comes out in few weeks so high res screenshot thread should be pretty fun.

My 970 just had a run up a near by hill and is now doing some star jumps. Seems pretty confident.
The only question that remains in my mind is, will there be a traffic / pedestrian density slider?

Just because you mostly don't see that much traffic in the same place doesn't mean you won't. On PS3 it could be very dense sometimes even. Same on PS4. It all comes down to the time of day and not to mention a design aspect. Super dense traffic like in that trailer would make it impossible to drive at super high speeds which would be less fun. That trailer only showed what's possible. Except for the traffic density they delivered in the graphical area.
Just because it wont look like that with your PC setup doesn't mean its a bullshot. If these were advertised as console screenshots, then sure, but nothing here should be impossible to replicate on a good(very good) PC.

Since the only type of pre-order bonus is in-game money I'll wait until after it comes out to get this. I want to see how the game performs with an i5-4690K/R9 290X .
Just in time for Half Life 3!
That's a close one but I'd bet on PS4 in terms of graphics/performance overall, but of course PC version will have other perks.

I know they did, I agree. I've seen fairly dense traffic on PS3, and noticeably more on PS4 (perhaps just not as much as that trailer).
Like you said, it really depends on the time of day among other things.

As I recently got a 980 I'm pretty confident to achieve that kind of look though I will forgo graphics for frame rate. I would prefer 60fps to be honest. Can't wait. First this then Witcher 3!

I wonder how a GTX 670 2GB will do with this. Will I end up having to upgrade? I will be playing at 1080p.
I doubt it, you don't have to play on max settings you know.

Whelp used incorrectly here. Just saying.
Only one image is using CA, the star walk one no. 7, I wonder if it will have the option to turn it off. Texture quality seems to be more consistent than what it was in previous images, or it's the DOF that hides it in some of the images. Hopefully we have the ability to turn the motion blur off, it has weird ghosting on these images

This will be weird. It will be the first GTA game I've played on PC. I have GTA 4 in my Steam backlog, but I haven't found the motivation to play it.

Finally the version I can be satisfied to play. I traded in PS3 version after five hours of frame rate and jaggie horror, avoided the PS4 version 'cause I wasn't playing a next-gen version of a game that still sometimes drops frames and has visual effects issues, and now here we are finally.

Uhhhh.... if the game looks worse than this, I'd be pretty bummed out.
That foliage is pretty gross. There's nothing here to suggest it won't look that "good."
People are talking out their asses again, like in the last thread. If THESE are "bullshots".... then the game's gonna look pretty meh.
