Upgraded to 12GB of DDR3 and bought a SSD for this game.
(On top of the GTX 770 4GB Overlocked editon)
Hoping it's enough to max at 1080p at least lol.
The only question that remains in my mind is, will there be a traffic / pedestrian density slider?
These are very clearly not bullshots, all the imperfections are visible. Game comes out in few weeks so high res screenshot thread should be pretty fun.Rockstar bringing the bullshots and people lapping it up. Never ceases to amaze me, It never looks anything like this good when playing... Been happening for decades, I remember vice city and the bull shots for that looked like a different freaking game at times.
Marketing bull shots don't really tell how it's going to look. I want to see the final game running on someone's PC with a powerful GPU.
Just saying.
If it's anything like GTA4, it'll be moddable up the wazoo. So even if they don't include a slider, someone will figure out how to up the density.

Just because it wont look like that with your PC setup doesn't mean its a bullshot. If these were advertised as console screenshots, then sure, but nothing here should be impossible to replicate on a good(very good) PC.Yeah sure, the game will look like that for me.
Just saying.
I will triple-dip whenever I get around to upgrading my PC, ie. 2018
That's a close one but I'd bet on PS4 in terms of graphics/performance overall, but of course PC version will have other perks.Wondering if it's worth it to buy this for my 2500k & 7850 as opposed to my PS4.
Just because you mostly don't see that much traffic in the same place doesn't mean you won't. On PS3 it could be very dense sometimes even. Same on PS4. It all comes down to the time of day and not to mention a design aspect. Super dense traffic like in that trailer would make it impossible to drive at super high speeds which would be less fun. That trailer only showed what's possible. Except for the traffic density they delivered in the graphical area.
I wonder how a GTX 670 2GB will do with this. Will I end up having to upgrade? I will be playing at 1080p.
Will buy when I build a new pc with a 390x when they come out...

I'm totally not embarrassed to say I'm heading to the strip club ASAP to check out the graphics.
man this looks gooooooooooooooooooood
My x2 TitanX will be put to WORK
Whelp used incorrectly here. Just saying.Whelp looks like im double dipping
Triple dip for me![]()
Darn it, I shouldn't have doubled dipped on the current consoles and waited for the PC version...

I've been waiting for the PC version to finally get into GTA V.
So ready for this.

I have it pre-ordered there for months, so I sure as hell hope it won't be locked. So do we know yet if the Rockstar Social Club launcher or whatever how it's called will be region locked or not? 35$ on Nuuvem is tempting for a triple dip....
I just watched debut trailer. Finally the version I can be satisfied to play. I traded in PS3 version after five hours of frame rate and jaggie horror, avoided the PS4 version 'cause I wasn't playing a next-gen version of a game that still sometimes drops frames and has visual effects issues, and now here we are finally.
Surely this one will be the one for me. I've waited so long GTA V. So long... I've sang hymns in honor of your impending arrival. <3
