Bullshots they say... In a PC topic.
Some people should visit the hi-res PC screenshot thread sometime! Some amazing stuff in there that people play at such a high fidelity.Bullshots they say... In a PC topic.
piece of crap HP Laptop from 2010What are you running now?
All of that on a gtx 660 or an HD 7870. Hard to believe isnt it.
What set up would I get to run this at max easily at 1080? I don't care about 4k and other crazy bells and whistles. Is there any card on the market that can do this without tinkering? And as you can see, I have no idea what settings do what other than the basic aliasing and v-sync type stuff.
Seriously, its telling as fuck. Every round of screenshots for this game sees this same reaction; why? What's unbelievable about these shots when viewed at native resolution?Bullshots they say... In a PC topic.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves - Rockstar claimed greater pedestrian and vehicle density in the PS4/Bone ports too, which was really only slightly greater.
Just because you mostly don't see that much traffic in the same place doesn't mean you won't. On PS3 it could be very dense sometimes even. Same on PS4. It all comes down to the time of day and not to mention a design aspect. Super dense traffic like in that trailer would make it impossible to drive at super high speeds which would be less fun. That trailer only showed what's possible. Except for the traffic density they delivered in the graphical area.

What do you mean, with every setting fully maxed? No lol MSAA will tank your framerate if you max it.

Wouldn't be surprised if there's only SMAA and FXAA
btw: the game is $10 cheaper on Steam in latin america ($49.99 as opposed to $59.99)
not sure what's the deal with region lock but I think there aint one gifting from latin america to US
I can help in getting it for $50 if that's the case

A 280 is a very old GPU which does not support DX11. It's barely above the minimum specs.
Unless (s)he's talking about the AMD R9 280x instead of the NVIDIA GTX280In that case it should easily perform better than the PS4.
I've never seen this area...

Every screen shot looks like a cartoon after being spoiled by The Order.
On the other hand. The pics still look great.

It's the forest area in paleto. It looks different because the way they captured it. No part in the game plays out like that. Like I said, these are made to look good.

That shadow from the tree looks a bit funky. Just look at the tire.
Could use some of that Nvidia secret sauce
