Lol at a week, try 6 months possibly for PC and maybe the same if not like a year for next egn ( if not also released on release)

6 months? I hope you aren't basing that on GTA IV which was a first-time development training thing for one of their studios. Max Payne 3 was out a month later and was a really, really solid release in technical terms. They obviously spent a lot of resources in training up people to work with the RAGE engine on PC, I'm fairly certain we will see a solid and quick PC release.

I never got this kind of question. It's not our job to come up with the ideas. We're not the chefs. It's like you can't dislike something unless you know what you would prefer.

You know what you don't like. Surely you know what you do like?

If I eat food, I could say, I like sweet things. Then a chef could make me something sweet. I wouldn't know the recipe, or what the exact end result would be, but more than likely it would be to my taste.

So the question stands.

that doesn't excuse it from being stagnated. it's the same satire over and over.

the series has needs to progress, as do rockstar. after RDR i wanted everything design-related to be pulled up from the roots. start over.

going to the letter on the minimap, watching a cutscene and then killing the red dots is not good enough anymore.

You hear that, Rockstar!! Change everything that has worked and sold millions of copies, god damn it.

Then I can't see how any strip club scene is cliche honestly. Plenty of people go to strip clubs. And it's really not as overdone as you think. You can probably count the number of times strip clubs have been in games in the past few years on one hand.

I find it boring, and I'm entitled to have an opinion without being labeled racist.
The other two trailers were much more entertaining imo.

I really hope so, I would get a PC version day 1 ( even buying it side by side with the ps3) but I have my doubts.

I hope you can still get haircuts in this game. I want to go to the barber, sit down and after a few seconds of the barber working on my head, I leave the shop with a fresh afro.

I'm hoping the heists in the game are little more involved, but yeah basically. They need a mission structure that actually takes advantage of the open world. I said this in another thread:

They need a GTA-like game where you can plan out crimes/heists, pick out a getaway route, pick a car and a spot to escape to, try to stick to a schedule, listen to the police scanner, set up another car to switch to or something, etc.. shit like that instead of doing a bunch of shitty linear missions.

I hope so much that you are right.

It's annoying they've once again released trailers that focus on story. They did the same for LA Noir and MP 3 and both of those games were disappointing IMO.

*Animations that look better than most of the trash games today*

"Animations do look pretty shit"

My head is full of fucks

How many games have a tenth of the budget this game has? That said, it's to be expected and it's not that big of a deal.

The difference with Max Payne 3 was that the PC version had already been announced. There has been no PC version announced for GTA5 yet. I'd say 6 months until the PC version is a good bet.

This post gives me faith. I don't know if I'd be able to wait for the PC version release if it took a month but I'd certainly hope it's optimized. Hell I'm hoping for a 10gb texture pack and extreme tressfx. I might even go out and buy a brand new gfx just to stunt harder.

This game and The Phantom Pain are real testaments to the power of engine advancements. It's utterly crazy how far we have come since the 360 launch games.

I'm pretty sure it's because of the next-generation being around the corner. They probably spent time talking exclusive deals, exclusive DLCs, partner deals that shifted platform focus etc. so they couldn't announce anything early.

That's my guess.

Man, these graphics aren't so hot. Really ugly character models too. Rockstar should've waited for next gen, IMO.

LA Noire and Black Ops 2 have me spoiled, I guess.

What are you guys going to do when you first boot up the game?? After the inevitable escort ai companion to his safehouse mission, I may just go on a rampage blowing up running over people and ramming cars. I could probably play GTA V for a month just bullshitting around before ever touching a mission. I knew people that NEVER did missions in GTA.

They make for different characters and would go through different stories/experiences, much like this group of characters will.

Your basically saying R* wasted their time making more than one lead character.

Right, I'm saying to me it doesn't make a difference if it was a man or woman since a different character would have a unique story whether male or female, it's all up to the writers.

Ride a bike, just cruise around

Has it been said how we play as these three characters? Like is it three separate campaigns or do we get to simply pick a character as we play one huge campaign?

I am really trying to grasp how vast this game will be! SO many different locations shown, and these characters couldn't be more different. Something for everyone!
