How impressive that is depends entirely upon how well it animates. In motion, that could be really incredible. From this shot alone, it looks nice.

Different art style, but there is something about the visuals that remind me of Halo 2.
 
looks pretty freaking killer to me. certainly better then any shooter on the market now (yes, i'm talking about highend pc games).

great explosions, great lighting, vast and detailed environments and what looks like good character models. i'm fucking sold. cant wait for x05

Probably because the same level of graphic detail could be achieved with the Halo 2 engine.
 
not impressed by the screenshot, sorry, there have been better of this game, not to mention of other stuff (other stuff on 360 as a matter of fact).
 
I swear I've seen that screenshot before in one of the magazine scans... and that concept art...

yup, pretty much. we need high-res and direct-feed video of this. and why does that render of joanna not look as good as the renders from the FHM feature? :(

It's that angular structure to the right. It has the same elements as do the forerunner structures in Halo and Halo 2.

The screen looks nice. Nice models. Nice lighting. Nice effects. Nice.
 
Why do different renders of her still look quite different?

Cool UI, nice and minimal. What's the bar at the top for?
 
Looks great. I like all the debris, sparks, explosions and stuff. Hopefully there are a lot of exploding barrels to cause destruction with :)

I'm not going to get into whether it look good or not, but the shot keeps my interest level high. I just pray that as much or more time went into single-player as multiplayer.

Yeah blim, my eye is drawn instantly to the floor, "Blur guy" and the really bizarre use of bloom.

It could just be a case of a really bad screen shot though.
 
I got some vibes of the warthog final run just for looking that image, but is weird that some weapons can stand in a perfect horizontal position with all that chaos

The shot is not impressive. But apparently PDZ just doesn't look that good in stills. In motion, I'm sure it looks fine - the crappy quality videos did.

Yeah, so far no true screenshot had any AA in it. Really strange, maybe it's the way the framebuffer is done that prevents the antialiasing?

Health meter I think. You can see the 2 parts its broken up into (shock/temporary damage and lethal damage).

that's why we really need video. what looks weird in a screenshot can sometimes look perfectly natural in video.
 
Looks alright, nothing spectacular but nice. Just wished they had kept the old PD font for the logo, it was kick ass :(

Yeah, it does have that forerunner look. I've always been really fond of those designs and it looks nice here.
