new Metroid 2D

If you read the article, I think what it's saying is the Metroid Pinball for DS is being called Metroid Dread.

Just adding my observational two cents...

It's a very, very weird list...It's listed as a 2006 lineup, despite Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones releasing in a week. I mean, I want to know where that list came from...it's missing Mario Baseball, which has already been confirmed, and yet has many games that haven't been at all? It seems so incomplete, like it's a massive combination of their inside information and titles that don't fit into their date.

If it's all true, I'll be picking up a Soccer Slam Engine-Powered Super Mario Strikers for sure. By the time this fall rolls around, also, I doubt I'll resist a DS. Sequels or not sequels, it's adding up to a solid enough launch lineup, especially with some online titles.

The keyword in the scan is "partial" line-up.
So...

+ New Super Mario Bros
+ Super Princess Peach
+ Another Code: Two Memories
+ Nintendogs
+ Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
+ Elektroplankton
+ Jam with the Band

I guess that'd be okay with me. I think I'm going to have a hard time resisting the DS for much longer, but I was just really, really hoping this E3 would unleash a bunch of original content to really sell me on it. I'm just breaking off a 6 month gaming vacation, and I want some new experiences.
