Pikmin is a miyamoto child, I highly doubt this will have any effect on the future of the series.

Nintendo interpreted the feedback as "people don't want Metroid anymore."

Ive been beyond ready to move past 3DS for quite some time. The limitations of the platform have been hounding their games for far too long and it was definitely on display here

There are definitely some gems here where visuals and performance arent nearly as essential though.

That new Mario Sports game, if done right, could be an amazing package. The soccer looks a bit iffy... but I'm hoping it ends up feeling like Strikers.

I just hope there's a lot of depth to every sport, like we've seen in the individual sport releases like Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, and so on.

I thought that was all awesome.

I just finished up Street Pass games last week, and was super sad there would likely be nothing more since NX is coming... and then they gave me more games!

I thought there was a lot of great stuff in that Direct, just wish Mario Maker had online.
