So, how about that OPM demo?

The review was right, the game speed is pretty crazy fast; but it doesn't feel uncharacteristic for SC.

I was using Kira for the raging nipples (actually I didn't notice der nips until the second round - NIPPLES?! Take that bump mapping and blooming fx!) and for the simple fact she's not that god damned lamer Mitsurugi. She reminded me a bit of Cammy because of the hard slash and kick aerial move that can be modified with any of the three attack buttons.

I can't wait for the final game. My buddy and I kept playing it over and over.

Those owls are going into create a character and getting named O RLY and YA RLY. :lol
 
Really hoping the black screen pause between combat rounds is removed in the final. Game should also look nicer in Pro-scan/widescreen, neither of which the demo support.

Though limited in the demo, the CAW is nothing more than slapping new skins on existing fighters. Dancer=Voldo; didn't create a ninja class yet. This isn't so bad really, freedom to create a Cassy/Mitsu/whomever of your own. Equipping different item combinations adjusts 'personality' sliders that seemingly serve a purpose?

Fighting is -blazing- fast now, really catches you off guard. Some neat distortion effects going on during certain moves/hits too.

I assume it will be gone since Namco has been pretty good about that in all their games.

Hmmm - I didn't even mess with the Create A Character mode. :X

Well it's the best Shantae I could manage with the limited options in the demo.

The damned thing reset on me while I was fiddling with my electronic picture taker. So no full body shot, which is okay because those pants simply would not do.

Hopefully I can make a 90% Shantae and friends in the final version.

As well as resurrect some Toshinden favorites. :D

Yeah, like I said - as close as I could get with the demo. :P

I'm hoping the proper hairstyle and accessories are in the final game. Which shouldn't be impossible since they're nothing out of the ordinary.

I wonder if you'll have any control over body proportions? A scrawny Rungo and B Cup Sophia simply will not do. :)

Raphael fought Nightmare as the last battle. Raphael ended up getting Siegfried to control himself, who then took the Soulcalibur out of Soul Edge and stabbed Soul Edge in the eye. Siegfried is now freed from Soul Edge while SE has posessed his old Nightmare armor.

Oh, to be honest I never bothered to check in SCII's options menu for that. I just assumed that since most stills were released in 4:3 that the game only had that option. You know what they say about assuming!

Yes I'm biased, only becauuse my PS2 is dying a slow painful death. Having to redo the white cog everytime I want to play a game of King of Colosseum 2... ergh
 
They put a new interview for the Chronicles of the Sword mode. It sounds pretty cool

Yes. Where you move your unit, how you command your unit and what type of unit you select will be critical. The unit type that you select will not only affect the map battles but also the SOULCALIBUR fighting, so it's pretty important.

Wow! So your unit type affects the strength of the character's fighting?

Yes. If you select a knight, your defensive ability will increase, but the speed of your 8 WAY-RUN will slightly decrease.

As you defeat enemies you gain experience points and you will get stronger and stronger. As your level increases, your attack, defense and health gauge status will all increase.

Great! You can go shopping!

Sure. You can buy a strong weapon to defeat the boss.

Wait a minute? There are bosses?

Certainly. There's a boss in every Chronicle. Haha!
