I'm not that upset about this game though, since I don't want it anyway. Loved THUG, but THUG2 sucked. I'm really just pissed that GUN is a port, since that game looks interesting.

They are widescreen (though not 16:9), he just posted the smaller images. The full-size images are 1280x896

Trust me, people aren't dissing these screens becuase of how they look relative to other skateboarding games, regardless of platform. We're pissed about the lack of next-gen graphics in these screens.

Eh, that's the reason for the hate, they are 360 shots. All of the shots for this game on the 360 have looked like this. Look at the 16:9 pic up top. Like Wario said, they are rushing a BS port and people who don't know better will snatch this up.

Didnt' the developers themselves say there really isnt' anything special graphically about the x360 version of american wasteland? I mean the game is basically a PS2 title that's been marginally improved for xbox and gamecube and then had minute enhancements for 360... it is a current gen game just running with full draw distance and special effects turned to 1 level above what current gen systems could do at a respectable framerate.

If they game is worth more $$$ on 360 then it'd be a bit ridiculous unless they put in better player models atleast. If they dont I"m sure they'll learn the hard way.
