Trying my best to give this soundtrack a chance but it's fucking dreadful so far. I know music is just about the most subjective thing on earth but the tunes were my favourite part of the 1+2.
The 2 min timers are such a dated constraint. After getting sick score, I just pause-restart after each goal completion. I know making it open world like OGTHPS4 would've required more dev time, just wish they made both games like that instead of the other way. I heard you can turn the timer up to 60 min but I can't find it. Finsihed THPS3 goals and 75% done with THPS4 goals but losing some steam. Can't see anything keeping me coming back. It ain't like the old days when I was in high school and I just loved pushing for higher score tricks and horse with the friends. How are the pro goals that unlock after 100% normal goals?

I'll just run a Spotify playlist in the background. there I can bring some of the missing songs back, keep the good ones, and replace the bad ones with songs from the first 2 games and generally fitting songs like some songs from Oliver Tree maybe (I'm thinking Cash Machine and Hurt), maybe some old Greenday stuff...

1. In Game Mods under Options menu you can choose the length of a session. Never tried it on competition levels though.
2. The Pro Goals are mostly extensions of regular goals. C-O-M-B-O challenges are neat. The Platinum Scores are too much for me (I already struggled to get the Sick Scores) so I just flip on Infinite Lip and press buttons. I also did the same with manual and grind for the absurd full airport length combo and San Francisco cardboard manual challenge to protect my sanity.
P.S. Pinball level's triple kickflip between bumpers Pro Challenge is driving me insane. It is so difficult to nail gap consistently and often my attempts at a triple kickflip only register a double kickflip or not at all. I have been attempting it for hours. I even played the game at half speed. Fucking hell. That is one I will be glad to be rid off. In fact I may not attempt Pinball challenges ever again.
P.S.S. I just learned that the triple kickflip can be used at any point in a combo with the gap.
As Tony said, go connect your spotify list. I dont understand the hate its getting for the OST. For one, we know how messed up dealing with licensing is and two, Im actually glad to hear new music because thats how I discovered all other artists back in the day. Game is awesome and fun, the fact people are refusing to buy it because its 70% new OST baffles me. I didnt come here to listen to a game I came to play and its great at that.
If people continue to be fed up about it, maybe, just maybe, game developers/publishers have some more strings to pull to get the the music industry to go with the time. Rights to digital media is so fucked up in general, it needs changing. That only happens if there are enough complaints and for that reason vote with their wallets.
For myself I'm mostly worried it's just not as much fun as it was when I was younger. I spent hundreds to maybe even thousands of hours on these games, but I don't think sakting around and pulling unrealistic combo's will last me that long anymore. The game in that regard is probably the same, but I am not.
