I think his brother is dead. in the japanese trailer you see a funeral scene. btw, check out the japanese trailer, it's really good. like Brave japanese trailer that had that Ghibli feel to the trailer.
 
Not a great trailer, but the movie still looks good!

I don't think so. I think there's just going to be an Up-esque beginning where his brother dies.
 
Hmm. Doing as much as they can to avoid advertising it as a superhero movie, and going for boy and his robot comedy. Honestly sensible, considering they're leavin the Marvel name off the trailers and putting Disney movies up there instead.
 
Yeah, the bad-guy is obviously his brother.

They're going for the classic Char-route.
 
is the japanese trailer 2 out?The japanese trailer, for some reason,seemed better. I don't know why exactly but maybe the trailer had a better understanding of how the film should be portrayed in a trailer compared to the english trailer.
 
Be nice if they put some more focus on the rest of the team beside Hiro and Baymax before the movie comes out through. Even in this trailer, it still feels they are kind of shove aside, but well gotta focus on Baymax especially for them toys! I just hope there be some nice development with the team overall.

I think this is a test, to see if they can use some of Marvel's lesser properties as animation studio fuel.

I love Runaways but I totally don't think it's viable as a live-action series/movie for a number of reasons (aging kids if it's a success, lots of crazy powers would have to be toned down, etc.) - Animation would be much better.
Wouldn't they have to get rid of a few characters due to not having the film rights to them?

You just have to make Molly not-a-mutant, which is fine.
 
Probably not day one, but i'll definitely see it.

I want to see what Disney can do with Marvel stuff that isn't inherently avengers related.
 
Gives away a chunk so going dark, this and Interstellar well be a good battle at the box office.

Also, yep, brother maybe be dead but the baddie may have something to do with it. Also, Gogo and Hiro are hooking up.
 
I think this movie's gonna be a lot better than these trailers have been. Can't wait, I wish more good lookin' animated movies were coming out this year.
 
It looks even worse than frozen.
Hopefully, the trailer isn't representative of the final movie, like wreck it ralph.
 
Looks great! Really excited to see this, but Disney decided to release this in most of Europe in January/February 2015, so I guess I'll have to wait a little longer...

Btw for anyone living near or going to Disneyland in the next few weeks, they're screening extended previews for the film in the Captain EO theatre starting tomorrow.

Looking forward to it, but i have one small problem with it.

All of the cg animated movies seem to have the exact same style of animation. Different characters with different personalities tend to have the same mannerisms.
i.e. I keep seeing the same type of shrugs, timing and smirks..just something that I find annoying
 
Not the best trailer, but it looks pretty decent.

It's a shame it isn't coming out till next year here.
