A lot of cynicism in this thread.
As far as this goes, I think it looks very good. I don't care about the "Remember this?" aspect of it. If you're going to "pass the torch", you have to appeal to the past also.
It was apparently good enough to get Murray and everyone else on board and he was vehemently against anything Ghostbusters for a long, long time.
I believe a scant few people did see screenings last year before Covid caused all the delays and said it was very good.
I'm very happy it is being made and if it ends up being a bit mediocre, it'll still be better than that 2016 travesty.
