Sounds might be apples and oranges comparison in terms of function but early comparison between the XBox boot up sound and PS Studios sound views, likes and retweets on twitter.

Tony Hawk w/ an MS marketing tie-in for today?

Tomorrow is the big one though Jeff is claiming is the most important event of the summer.

I... highly doubt anyone would consider that the event of the summer.

It's gotta be a big franchise, or a big feature or something..
I m just assuming from things I heard it ps related .

Ps event is june 4 so they need to tease it at some point in the next 2 weeks. So ps5 form Factor and ps event tease for June 4 . That would be my guess

The problem with this type of comment by DF is that it conflates two issues.

The frame-rate a game is designed to be interactive at -AI is tested at, animations and logic, etc - is not changed, or even improved by the unlocked frame-rate hardware can render it at. Driving games and MP First Person Shooters typically scale to hardware without any issues, as the exception, and if that's what you want to play, then sure, the statement is fine - within the caveat that frame-rate doesn't break a driving game's maximum speed collision detection.

For games like AC major traversal mechanics are tightly bound to the animation durations, which still display and can't be broken regardless of frame-rate. They don't work like free-flowing platform games like Super Mario 3D world in which most elements of the animation can be broken immediately for the playability feedback loop. But games like those haven't been in vogue in the mainstream for over 2 decades, because they are too difficult for casual gamers. So the 'buy a PC for best gaming' (untested and not targeted) seems like something that is odd to say (IMHO). Any game that needs 60fps on a console gets it. GT and fighting games typically target 60fps. 60fps is nice on remasters, but mostly because it reduces frame issues for areas where the game didn't hit the 30fps with proper frame-pacing.
I am agree with comment of the animation that things are the devil specially as you say you want to have a game which feel realistic and responsive.

But is not impossible just need to work in a different way but for example in the cases like Assasins Creed their animations already works even framerate higher than 30 fps but
the main reason of why we have games in 30 fps is for the graphic difference compare to a game to 60 fps and yes frame pacing cares more.

Tony was particularly unhappy with the way Acti handled the Tony Hawk license after HD came out.
If he's made a remaster with them, they've either thrown a shed load of money at him or he's actually with the remasters.

Either way, in case you couldn't tell from my other posts, I am hyped as fuck for it. Nostalgia trains go choo choo.

I'm not sure on the likelihood of a PS reveal today, but Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remaster reveal today would be insane, I really loved playing those games on my Playstation 1. Such a big part of my childhood. Would love to see what they'll be doing with it on next-gen, I'm going to go bezerk if it's exclusive to Xbox since I'm buying the PS5.

sometimes it's best not to talk when everything is alright, for all they know this could cause a pr blunder (give the impressi8n that they mean to compete on performance by example).
Yeah but I was talking about release date for its games of even more game we don't any for any big game in all the year.

Regarding the performance ... man you ruined my joke hahaha.
