You're missing the point. Just look at the messaging of today's reveal vs. tomorrow's reveal. Like aside from the extra hype being put alongside tomorrow's event. It's completely different. Today was a "game reveal + interview" tomorrow's a "showcase + interview". Whenever Keighley references tomorrow's event he also never references that its a game like he did today. This isn't difficult.

Maybe you're right, at the end of the day it could very well be just a game, albeit a big one. But I don't understand how you fail to see how people think it COULD be something else in light of how it's been represented.

I mean I agree it might not be a game.. my point is I don't get why it would be hardware related.

Something like Sony's full plans for BC or something would fit.

Good point though that they are specifically not saying "game reveal" like they did today.
 
What if it is the Lockhart reveal, especially with that Jeff Grubb "future tech" tweet, Geoff Keighley's S hint, and the word "showcase" instead of something like "surprise game reveal" on Summer Game Fest's website.

Ok I agree then, my bad. Agnostic had an interesting guess. A re-announcement of Kojima's Silent Hills with maybe PT going back on on the PS store might be big enough to warrant all this hype there throwing at this.

Could Geoff's 'important moment' be related to Jen's Tweet and its some bigger picture thing for gaming?

To me this is more then just a game reveal the way he has worded things like you said.

To me its going to be something like maybe PSVR2 or Switch 2 show off a few demos then talk to someone about the tech.

Maybe I am reading way too much into this.
 
Really odd that Sony hasn't released a teaser image of their "retail" consoloe yet. When did Microsoft reveal the look of the Series X? Just curious...
 
All I know is that for once I'm probably over-hyping myself... lol

I'm usually the one telling y'all to have low expectations but I for some reason want to believe it will be something huge.

Played a lot of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 with my cousins in a "locadora" :messenger_winking: close to my house. Then got a PS1 and played THPS 4 in it; only got a PS2 in time to play the Underground games.

What the hell man. No game could be that important. No hardware either except a console reveal.
Too soon for PS5 so either it's not related to Sony specifically or it's related to an important service/feature of the PS5 🤔

Sometimes it's better to be straightforward in your marketing... not to second guess the communications expert doing their professional work for some other company that will release a console this year.

Ghost of Tushima is (hopefully), that's the most interesting game coming out after TLoU 2 this year, by a metric mile!

This teasing is really getting annoying. I wonder what's the "big event" tomorrow but I am not holding my breath. I would appreciate it if someone just showed the good stuff already. An Unreal Engine tech demo from February 2013 PS4 event got me much more excited than what Sony and Microsoft have been doing for the past year to promote next-gen.
