Yeah, I agree, just weird that they didn't announce it along side the XSX...I can see a lot of kids getting the wrong thing for birthdays/holidays since parents are going to be confused between the two, especially if both cases look nearly identical.

Yeah looks like tht green spreading some money around to spread propoganda and he's a schill. It conveniently was said when ppl started talking up ps5 and how xsx didn't have any game running on their console, plus all big third party deals tht supposedly Sony is doing. And if ppl don't think corporations act this way and try to cause dissension do some research.

Yes, the human factor...I don't question his info nor his sources, my problem is with his wording. He began saying PS5 had much worse performance than XSX in all multiplats, then changed to just RE8, then changed to this is an old build and it will be fine on release, just to say later he did that to put Xbox in a better lighting (no pun intended) due to recent situation.

If an insider is deliberately downplaying one console to make the other console's users feel better about its own problematic situation, then he's obviously biased and can't be trusted.

Thing is, I don't even think it was smart enough to have been a shill move. If you're going to spread fud at the paid behest of a rival company, at least it should be fud that sounds plausible, and doesn't have to be walked back under the first sign of pressure.

I just think Golem is an XBox guy, and decided to hype up a legit piece of info he heard out of all proportion to make the XBox sound better.

But i'm actually really curious about how it will run on current gen, i suspect it will run fine, if not not more (TW3 is 5 years old and still looks super solid on PS4 today), but i just can't stand insane loading times anymore (which i suspect it will be the case, i couldn't 100% AC Odyssey because of this lol)

I'm super excited about the game, but i highly doubt it be GOTY, but again GOTY is subjective as always, for sure it will be GOTY to some people.

Considering they didn't show PS4/One versions yet a delay is a possibility yeah, but for sure they must be struggling quite hard to get the game runs properly on the current gen consoles.

Looks like, I guess, the new knee-jerk reaction when Sony(if they have them) starts dropping those massive exclusivity bombs will be "Bu..bu...but WEAKER system! This isn't fair!"

I find these comments kind of.. pointless.

Find someone who actually acts that way, and make them look like a fool.

I'm someone critical of exclusivity deals; and you won't find me acting dirrently when MS does it vs Sony does it.. I criticize them across the board. Same with buying up devs, although that's a fairly different situation and really you have to be subjective about it.

this person explained very well what happened. he -like many of us- saw that trailer and noticed that it had some stutters. the only difference is that he had some friends actually working on the game, and he asked whats up, so he got told what's up.
on xbox they got their nextgen RE engine running at 60fps at 4k, while on ps5 they are hitting some bottlenecks that cannot hold 60. thus the "we cant even hold 1080p/60" comment.
instead of this rare inside info being made a focus for some discussions, it went dumpster fire level and the person that told us about it is now feeling sorry for the problems he is causing to his friends that trusted him.

So, what kind of wording would you prefer? I guess the <<insider matt>> reply on the subject suits you better? "one is more powerful, other is faster, everyone is going to be happy"?
the guy that is somehow "vetted" as a "rare case of developer that has access to both dev kits" is actually a fool that was saying that lockheart got cancelled.
I am sorry but I find this completely ridiculous, and as I already wrote, stuff like this is the reason we rarely get any real inside info, and instead usually get stupid fucks playing the "insider" or the "dev" that only spread bullshit and fantasies according to their preferences or their bosses.

I still don't understand (in a business sense) why Microsoft would want to cannibalize one of Xbox's biggest revenue streams to migrate folks over to GP. It might make sense if they integrated Gold into GPU, but not standard GP at $10/mo, especially if GP isn't profitable yet.

I could see them doing the following options/services

$10/month Xbox Live Gold - play online, 2-3 free games monthly (unchanged)
$10/month Game Pass - library of games, + play online (the new incentive to get game pass)
$15/month GP Ultimate - Game Pass + Xbox Live, + Xcloud + game pass on pc, other perks etc (unchanged)

Cause right now a casual who just wants Game Pass and online has to get Ultimate, but might not want to spend that much. I could see them trying to push as many as possible to sub to basic Game Pass for paid online and games, then push Ultimate to the more hardcore players.

I doubt they will make online free, but I could see them switching the core of Live Gold, paid online, over to Game Pass. Because the only way to make GP profitable is to get millions of more subs.
