It has to be said, I'm quite surprised at how elegant it looks in real life.
I was fully prepared for it to look like a complete eyesore - and while it's still clearly a big bitch, it has quite a pleasing, interesting shape to it that I don't mind at all. I thought all the renders made it seem a lot more aesthetically pleasing than it really would be in reality, but it looks like they were all accurate. I think I'd better measure the shelves on my tv stand though. Could need some KY Jelly to slide her on in there...
It looks much better there than in the FCC pictures. Not sure why that is though. But I do agree that it's big but as long as it does it job I dont really mind the size. Unless I need a forklift to move it around that is.

Also saves carrying over.....Since when is this a thing for a new console.....My saves did not carry over in LOU Remastered or Uncharted Trilogy......Games like Dirt and Yakuza still have their own PS5 version with enhancements for that specific console....The file saving system may be enhanced due to the SSD and not easily compatible with the PS4. We all know, lots of data will be pulled off your save data on PS5, friends will be able to come help you finish or take over from you in a game....The system and OS in PS5 is simply more enhanced and evolved in every way......

They've definitely made cuts to RT visuals to have any RT at all... I'm sure this will improve with patches etc... But we can't expect every leave on a tree to be traced without some level of slowdown or pop in.
The other alternative is investing in an very expensive PC instead of a next gen console.

I was expecting around 700 GB. If its 664 GB, then they must using a lot of the SSD for the auto screen recording in full 4K. Kinda stupid if they need to use over 150 GB for the OS. PS4 Pro only used 130 GB.664 GB only ?

Yeah I've seen the 2060 super, would love to see XSX comparison later. Let's keep this a standard then, as Halo has struggled at below 4K without RT. Many devs are delaying RT on XSX for some reason.

Nah the PS4/5 system shows GB not GiB. The 664 GB is not 664 GiB. Same with my PS4 Pro is 872 GB, not 872 GiB. Thats why the PS5 says 825 GB not 768 GiB. Same with game file sizes, etc.
825-664=161 GB
768-618=150 GiB
