What these insiders don't know is I am the one who has been providing all the specs which are all over the place.

Only I know the real specs. And I won't tell gamers what they are until after MS and Sony publicly tell it to gamers, and sites like DF do analysis. Then I will confirm yes, and that I knew it the whole time.

Until then, all the numbers I say are random within the 8-13TF range.

(Am I doing it right as a fake rumourmongerer?)

Since every insider seems to claims Feb is the big reveal (which isnt even a big stretch since they did in Feb 2013), but for sake of going against the grain, I'll say March 2020.

So it doesn't matter whether I'm verified or not. You can't accept 1080-1080Ti performance for some reason. You want an actual TFLOP number which is useless when gauging performance. You don't like my comments that the PC GPUs are more powerful and next-gen consoles are already behind. Another fact because everyone dismissed Jensen's exact same comment. And you don't want to accept that top PS exclusives are coming to PC and will look better than the PS platform. All facts, and because I deliver these facts, I'm ignored or pushed aside. No. But again, you are focusing on a theoretical number. I even posted screenshots of how simple reads across the GPU pipeline from registers, to shared memory to L1 to L2 cache and across the bus to VRAM was the limiting factor in games (and nowhere near it's theoretical peak). Again, real world proof that people are looking at the wrong thing for judging which console is "better" than the other. You just comment "oh, ok.. whatever"..

A 1080ti is about 12 tf so that rights true.. what about RT capability? Does AMD RT use seperate cus ?

Let's get this straight. An insider "knows" things that the general public doesn't know. Why would I give out false information? I wouldn't. It doesn't serve any purpose. If you don't like what you are hearing, that's on you. Wait till the day these specs be released -- no, wait until you see a game running on these consoles and see the performance or downgrades or whatever and complain then that you are going to not buy the consoles because "they led us to believe.." It'll be PS4/1X days all over again..

I won't rule your prediction out. 2080 is weaker than a 1080ti and Jason said it is more powerful than that. (2080)

EDIT: Maybe your source meant between 2080 and 1080TI, that would give a much closer prediction in terms of overall power.

So what? That's what I heard. It doesn't make what I said false. Most of the developers don't even know the actual specs of the consoles. From what I heard would be good enough for any developer programming in real-time. They aren't interested in theoretical performance. We want measured performance because any developer can not optimize properly and screw up the theoretical numbers in a game.

A 1080 is 9 tf a 1080ti is 11.3tf ... we can hope RDNA 2 matches nvidia performance roughly per TF now. So this aligns with all early expectations of about 10 tf. I choose 11.4 tf in the poll ... I'd say xbox is about that and prob just over 10 for ps5. Everything aligns to my expectations.

It's not about ruling it out. I'm not doing this for "points". I could care less. I told what I heard and it's validity shouldn't be judged by whether you accept the numbers or not.

You guys still believe that the next-gen games are going to be something that will blow your minds --- just like PS4 days. I've been saying all along how the games are going to look and that's not acceptable because evidently you guys have "seen" better looking games.

I think the majority people right now just want to know when is the reveal is going to take place. I mean alot of people cant really afford 1080 to 1080ti pcs they just want to 400$ or 500$ box they just set and forget.

I don't know when they are going to be released. But that's not the point. They are coming and that's the point. You should recap the reactions here. It went from "there is no way in hell Sony is releasing their top tier 1st party games to the PC to well, maybe just the MP ones, to well, it's ok if it's 3yrs old." It's ridiculous.

By your 1080-1080ti specs, we have over 500 insiders according to the poll. So you're saying most devs don't know the specs so they're going off real-time, so how is it your info is off from Jason that put it above 2080 real time?

I really do not understand why people keep complaining about insider if they are real or not,

1) It is hard to be one, knowing something others do not, is no easy task, more if other people trusted you with the information.

2) Having the pressure of others telling you how much they want you to know, but you cant since it means to go against point 1.

3) People complaining about why you do not share the information with them, making them hate you for no valid reason.

4) People you do not know making you feel bad while complaining about anything you say.

5) Treats against you

Due to all those things I do not envy them.

I come here chilling and having fun. If one insider says something I do not pay much attention if it is false or true, either way, it won't affect my life (I won't get richer or poorer).

When both companies show their consoles, you can really judge who was real, and who was not.

So.... Somewhere between 1080 and 1080 ti...on around 200ish watts, including power to the cpu and other components... Please do tell us about this futuristic CPU/GPU architecture that defies the laws of power consumption, and provide efficiency well above 200%, in a small enclosure that can somehow dissipate so much heat. I would love to have a laugh at this.

That's nice.

PS5 exclusive games will look better than any of the floppiest PC GPU cards.

Optimization + Talent + Strong enough hardware is everything.

PC may even hold next gen back due to lack of standard high speed SSDs
