Judging by where he is I think I know what he's there for and it's not for Sony. But an event MS is holding this weekend in NYC.

playcrafting and microsoft are holding a game jam from Friday to Sunday that includes talks from developers

Last time it was amazing because they had so many exclusives and premiers but by the end of the night my wife was even saying things to me in his voice... ugh... it's not sexy...

I can assure you that the PS5 won't have dual GPU's.
Shu said that devs are praising the PS5 as the easiest to develop for yet, and the PS4 was a simple system, so that excludes any exotic type hardware. Expect a simple but well-rounded design.

Wonder what the pricing will be on this console. I think Microsoft at first was planning to sandwich Sony. Lockhart < PS5 < XSX, but due to last leaks it seems more and more that it will be: Lockhart < PS5=XSX on pricing. I think high-end consoles will be $500, but what will Lockhart be then... $300 or $350?

Jesus MS just ditch Lockheart and take the L... NOBODY wants it, even devs are telling you its a waste of time and money... Just put all that Lockheart money left into a pot and go do some research on the SX Pro for a few years time...

Not sure that nobody would want it. If you can market the Lockhart as a next-gen console, then it will probably do pretty well. Currently the OneS and PS4 also outsell the OneX and PS4 Pro.

If they can position it to be priced in a sweet spot, and have the console essentially do everything the other ones can but just at 1080p resolution then sure.

But this is the same MS who just released the xbox one SAD. I mean, even without the utterly dreadful name, look how much the damn thing was... The only reason it sold as well as it did was because everybody was discounting it to get shot of the damn thing...

By now, the Xbox One S should have hit £99.99 and the Xbox One X should be £199.99 tops. Its crazy how much they are selling things for, especially the S. This gives me ZERO hope that if they do release Lockheart, it wont be priced at some utterly stupid thing. I could honestly see the next gen consoles hitting £499.99 and the lockeheart being £449.99 just because...

To be honest, does it make any difference to anyone watching a video? What would you miss, a bunch of journalists cheering? Just gimme Cerny talking about the damn thing and I'm done. And like I said before, they could do it replacing the PS Meeting and near E3 do a full fledged event.

Well, PC master race people usually forgot closed system vs. PC World.

I think it is possible to get 2080 perf from console with less performance because of being closed system = getting more out of the hardware.

It would be stupid to assume that to get to 2080 level console must be literally at same tflop level.

Also different/newer RT = could be even faster than nvidia.

So laughing before all specs are revealed just makes you look silly

You realize how verification works? He just had to prove that he is who he says he is. Which in his case is former journalist. Based on that, mods decided that he would be in a position to get the knowledge he claims to have (know a dev, basically).

PS Now is using Azure going forward. There will be no Sony hardware in MS server centers. That's like the whole point of moving to Microsoft, so that they don't have to spend money on the hardware.

Bunch of BS. They would never build a Lockhart with a) higher CPU clock speeds than XSX and b) a completely different memory setup. Lockhart would have the same unified RAM as XSX, just less of it. It would have the same SSD, just a smaller size. It would have the same CPU, just clocked lower. It would have the same GPU, just clocked lower.

PS3 games in PS Now run on PS3 cluster servers not in Azure.
Azure is more for PS4 games and forward.

Each server has 8 custom PS3 units.

I hope Klee is right, but her credibility will be badly damaged. I still trust Klee but it's true that right now there aren't many signs for optimism. The movements of Sony these last two years in terms of marketing are strange .... it is very simple if something works do not change it. It is not so difficult to copy the PS4 strategy right? Well, this new Sony seems determined to find other ways ... I hope it works.

Do you realize Now use customized blades with PS3 and PS4 hardware? And so will Xcloud with Xbox hardware, they don't just emulate these consoles in Azure servers.
