Dude, dont move the goalpost, we are talking about you trying to silence people. Just let people post what they want, how they want. Report them if you think they are going too far and let the moderation team decide who can post about what and how.
I would never try and silence somebody to an opinion or guess work, come on man. But I don't like people saying "this site has info" and then it turns out it doesn't. Because as this thread has shown, people
will NOT read the source, they will just think it's legit and roll with it.
Now I may pop up and give reasons why they are right/wrong? But never shut them down, and I don't think that's a fair assessment to be honest.
Well 1-3 months difference won't make a difference for them ...
Late by forum dwellers![]()
Meh, it's a lie anyway. We are too early to the party and waiting for the cake. Meanwhile the rest comes when the cake is already is served![]()
Outside of people like us nobody cares for the announcement. My friends who all own PS4s don't lurk the internet like me for every new detail. We are too early to the party and waiting for the cake. Meanwhile the rest comes when the cake is already is served

My problem was solely with the "stop doing that" and if that wasn't what you meant by it, I'm sorry for all of this, but thats how it sounded to me.
What if we get this and every other PS5 announcement related thread locked until the announcement actually happens?
Very interesting, talk about a maximum of 13.8 TFLOPS for PS5, this is the maximum data that can be expected. He also comments that for PS6 to show the games at 8k, a minimum of 29.44 TFLOPS is required. This is the best article to date, thanks.

It was in reference to making things seem as fact, when actually it was more speculation again.
I answer later about all this.
Yeah, that wasn't how it sounded to me, but thats quite reasonable, so I hope you can forgive me for thinking otherwise.
After reveal you will answer us ?haha muchas graciasI answer later about all this.
Sony needs to announce something already. People are getting blue balls.
Benji said 12.9. Recently BGs said 13.8 apparently as a joke.Wasn't the 13.8 number the first to be rumored way back then by Benji?
Also yesterday someone at Era said he heard from a source in Taiwan that PS5 is 13.8 TF
It does seem crazy high, but no one expected 8GB of GDDR5 for PS4 either.
I answer later about all this.

He's been pretty upfront about what he knows or can talk about. You should be more mysterious. Post something like "Nothing follows".
There is an upside and a downside to that. The upside is, only the official word announcement can be heard. The downside is, anything else we may want to discuss is impossible leading to alternate frustrations. It's a question of whether the cost would be worth the reward.
True, but it also might be true that the conversations in these forums do matter in the big picture because these views are shared with the general public and negative vibes spread like wildfire.Outside of people like us nobody cares for the announcement. I meant people like us in general. We are the minorityReading the replies to the official PlayStation account on twitter and social media buzz in general I have to disagree. I don't have go outside to ask people if they're interested in PS5. It's not only GAF and forums.
right now it feels frustrating seeing through bunch of nothing but speculation and rumor.
He will tell you , you took it out of context . He feels ps5 is performing better than xsx regardless of the TF.
Oh thanks! It means Mod of War is using focus mode.
If comparable to the past then they are already late.
13.8 just seems unreasonable. Stranger things have happened, but it just seems crazy to me.
Price up the cost of the individual components you think you are getting, including costs of the board, the controller, leads, case, box and materials.
Now even when you consider they will be selling at a loss, and that they will be getting these parts much cheaper...
It doesn't add up.
You've got a grand GPU to get over that 12tf threshold To 13.8 (no card currently does this)
You've got an up to date cpu, with dd5 and board.
Then you've got all the little bits that do cost money, maybe not a lot but do. An 8k certified 120hrz hdmi cable for example.
And then as well, a controller?
So like two grands worth of kit, even at bulk order prices, some of you assume will sell at a loss and be priced £399? Hell even at £699 you are seriously pushing it here.
These peak limits are there to be just that, limitations. It's possible, but this will burn out faster than you can say piss, plus the yields will be so low Sony would be bankrupt the end of the year.
A: it is AMD not NVIDIA+intel and their rip off prices
B: still silly to compare pc parts to closed system with millions of components ordered
APU is much cheaper than dedicated cpu+graphics card.
Is 13,8tflops possible? Maybe maybe not, but im 100% sure it(apu or cpu+gpu chip) would not cost more than 200-300$ to Sony
Mate stop hanging on kleegamefan's tree, just move on...Well, looks like there are no PS5 news even after Sony's Q3 earnings reports, I feel like I have lost hope for February reveal, maybe just maybe, we'll see the reveal at the very end of February, let's hope it is in February, because that's what Kleegamefan said it would be, if it isn't there in February, I'll be losing confidence in what he's saying........even if he was wrong, doesn't mean everything he said is wrong, but still, he'll lose credibility.
It's at 110 million by end of December 2019 . It will hit 118 million before ps5 launches . So 130 million after all is said and done is safe betLike Ive said for over a year it'll hit 120 million when it's all said and done. Sony machines tend to be supported and sell till around two years after latest machine starts selling![]()

Why LOL?! I mean, just speculation? What's the problem?Mate stop hanging on kleegamefan's tree, just move on...
Maybe, but reaching PS2 levels are definitely not the case. Its sales were strongly helped by piracy in 3rd World countries.l, which will not happen this time.OH I agree it'll do more than 120 I just remember saying 120 like two years ago and ppl were like nah more like 100 or 110 million.
