Well, two more weeks in February. If they are going to do something at the end, this would be the week to announce it, whatever it ends up being.
As aforementioned, that Destination PlayStation just wrapped up. Some rumors pegged they'd target PS5 after it concluded, so let's see if something happens.
I, like many, am just tired of waiting. It is okay to let Microsoft move around a bit, but "radio silent" has started to backfire. It is apparent in the news and all the back-and-forth here..time for something concrete.

Oh come on, people getting upset at a possible 8tf ps5 in this thread. If it does end up being 8tf are you saying you're not gonna buy it? The games will be great. 8tf NAVI with Zen 2 CPU and SSD will be a big leap over PS4 Pro and X1X 6tf GCN.

Ever pondered the thought that they really went balls out and pushed 200MHz further, while expanding to a perfect chip? They could do amazing numbers that way. Not sure if they'd ever get enough chips to actually meet a quarter of their demand, but still. If we are still considering the GitH leak, it doesn't limit them to 9.2. Since we are throwing random ideas at the wall, might as well look at the theoretical maximums of where they could get and work from there.

Yeah, I meant Experience PlayStation. It is worth noting that when I was a kid, I had a TON of video game magazine subscriptions to everything under the sun(Dad had his audio books, I had gaming).
While venturing down to the house recently, I found I had some magazines with stuff from Klee. I *knew* I somehow recognized that avatar of his from GameFan and maybe EGM. That's why I'm a little inclined to trust him a bit longer.
What am I gonna do with all those magazines? PC Gamer, GamePro, EGM, PSM, PSX, Nintendo Power, NextGen, Official Dreamcast Magazine. Whole damned trunk box full...

People just get annoyed with the constant trolling. Even when people moved the price goal posts due to the recent Bloomberg article they still stated PS5 at 9.2 and XSX at 12TF with both priced at $499.

We're not getting upset, but I laugh when people say it is going to be 8 TF when every other insider/journalist is stating otherwise, so saying 8 TF for PS5 is like saying XSX will be 8 TFs as well which is stupid.

I pulled them out and noticed it was a piece of mail sent to Mark. It was from his boss. It demanded that he increase the PS5 from 8TF to 14TF. So, it was 8TF at one point.
My g-string got caught on the handle of a drawer as I was getting up, and it opened in front of me. Inside the drawer was a PS5 prototype. It looked exactly like the new Xbox. It was a tower shape, but instead of just being a rectangle, it was in the shape of a 5.
Mark immediately yelled at me and demanded that I leave. I was in a state of disbelief and walked straight into a filing cabinet. It crashed to the ground and popped open. One of the sheets of paper flew out and I could make out some text on it. It said 799.99 US dollars.

we don't know the form factor, and I really reaaallly don't believe the PS5 will look like the dev kits. maybe it will be tower like as well? we don't know, could be... PS4 and PS4pro dev kits look nothing like their retail counterparts either so
Not to mention we have absolutely no idea the details and efficiency of the rumored expensive cooling system Sony's considering/considered.

Do people really think consoles will be in par with Nvidia's high end gpu's? Especially since PC's don't use TF metric to determine which GPU is stronger than the next one. So it's stupid to compare a 12TF console to a RTX 2080. The PC gpu will always win. This is really mind boggling to me.

I'm afraid there's no such thing as a PC GPU and a Console GPU as a subset, just different GPUs. Nvidia and AMD cards function differently, direct comparisons between them need to be made in real-world performance and not numbers. Comparing AMD to AMD by the numbers is fair game.
