All 3rd party stuff announced so far is same on both next gen consoles.
Anybody expecting small power differences (12-10 TF - 20 % GPU speed and other small differences) is going to be disappointed and DF will be focussed on quality fo reflections in puddles for the next 5 years.
My prediction : Next gen will be Puddlegate (and what you can see on that shiny car by slowly moving around).![]()
am i reading this right, 9 members in the studio, one of the biggest budgets ever. Let me check that again.
Post edit, ah founding members.
He actually took a break to play some Ghost.@Bo_Hazem get banned or something?
Totaly agree. Switch makes good use of the feature, which works great when combined with analog sticks (for larger movement). From Sony only Days Gone allow it (not sure), except for VR games.Gyro is picking up on PC. Sony should push for gyro aiming in all games on PS5, it would be a defining difference and could make for a new standard for competitive shooters in consoles.

The biggest part is that this is an existing and beloved IP (at least by the team) that has never had a game. Wonder what it could be?
Studio started 6 months ago and their engine is nearly complete (X to doubt). Graphics engines, especially proprietary ones take 2&1/2 years just to lay down their foundation, the skeleton that serves as the backbone of the graphics pipeline, talking in terms of minimum time to get it fully developed and we're looking at 4&1/2 to 5 years(minimum). So unless their code was written by the flash in super speed, I doubt they even have an engine that's remotely close to being finished and we're talking about 9 devs here. There's no way they developed an engine that quickly. "Budget for this game is one of the largest in video game history". That's a big flex for a studio that was established no more than 6 months ago and I doubt they even have the budget for that unless they are being funded by someone which I'm doubtful of. And 2022 release for a new IP? Someone must be wet-dreaming, new ips take approximately 4 years to realise and possibly a lot more depending on the scope and scale of the project in question. I'm gonna press X to doubt on all the things mentioned in that bio, it sounds more like astroturfing than anything else.
While I have to say (like in the other thread) that I find it very good and commendable that there is tech being developed to make life for console players easier especially when trying to replicate aiming, I think (and thats my own opinion on it) it'll mostly stay a gimmick. I tried a few of them and so far none even got close to being on par with Mouse-control. Gyro in my own opinion also is a very bad and unintuitive way to go. When playing console, I like to change my way of sitting regularly, sometimes I let the control hang down, sometimes I lie back etc. With Gyro controls I'd either have to reset the calibration when changing or am forced to hold the controller level. I honestly feel like this is a step back, not to mention the janky controls. I can't believe anyone actually aims better with gyros, but I am a firm supporter of free choice and I'm not going to argue with someone who says he thinks otherwise, instead I'm glad they found a control scheme that works for them.
The budget of Destiny 2 was $500 million and they mean to tell us their IP costs more..........
Also, the games shown will running on overclocked RTX 2080tiMan you'll be disappointed if you think they will show mindblowing games and graphics.. they will not.. they will show gameplay of crosgen games (hallo will be the main star, Forza also) running at 60 FPS, maybe some at 120 FPS and will sell that as the next gen differentiator... not graphics but responsiveness and felling.. you'll see..
Of course, is likely, they also show one or two trailers of "Engine footage" or "Xbox x representative" stuff to come in the future without date or further information that will be very impressive but likely just smoke & mirrors to impress their audience..
The main course will be underwhelming from graphics perspective... if not I'll be hear eating the crow as my main course![]()

Highlander.
Also don't forget today is th 17th, Samurai17-Jul-2020 is much more important than 23-Jul-2020. I'm already 4 hours and a half into 17th of July.![]()
Like I said, it's better used together with the right analog stick: you use the analog to control the camera and make large movements, but when it comes to more minute and precise adjustments you use gyro, thus only moving the controller very slightly. While I have to say (like in the other thread) that I find it very good and commendable that there is tech being developed to make life for console players easier especially when trying to replicate aiming, I think (and thats my own opinion on it) it'll mostly stay a gimmick. Which games you play offers gyro on PS4? It's like a hidden feature...Gyro doesn't need to replace standard analog control. I used to doubt it too, but more and more people are picking up on it and after seeing people play with it, it's quite amazing how good it looks. And it seems to be a clear advantage in competitive shooters.

Already a game for Atari Jaguar based on the animated series.
It absolutely is. I love it.Off topic: The Road to El Dorado truly is one of the most underrated animated films of all time.

There can be only one... answer.

They have to show the games running on XSX, otherwise... eish

This another case of someone with console war syndrome?? They have been creating fake profiles & job postings. For a while now. Its pretty sad.
Well, these indie and third party games were indeed embarrassing, but that was to be expected, when the star of the show is AC game. I'm however sure MS first party studios will deliver.
Unless they have a Frenchman playing the Scotsman, American and English actors playing Scottish extras and the only Scotsman in it playing a Spaniard, then it's a no go for me.
RIP the most powerful video game console ever made (2017/2020)
And I'm seeing a lot of this:
And the other one lasted less than a year, it's so SAD.November 2017 - did not even get 3 years.
Probably not a marketing deal I think he means in the Xbox ecosystem it's only 4K in series x and Xbox one x not the first Xbox one or the Xbox one sThis is getting stranger all the time, why did Ubisoft Support said 'Xbox One' instead of 'Xbox One X'? Is there a marketing deal going on preventing them to market 4k for PlayStation?
