Geometry engine will be keeping those available TFlops relevant ie reduce wasting TFlops calculations on unseen geometry, and I'm sure many more improvements I can't remember and yet to learn
GPU cache scrubbers reduce stalls dramatically
Rumoured bigger GPU L2 caches, this is a given as will be needed cos it's clocked so high it has relatively more cycles to wait for CPU commands
Rumoured CPU unified L3 cache may be bigger, will reduce latency between cores passing data between each other and less cache misses
Super fast SSD streaming data straight to GPU
Many dedicated hardware refinements for above tasks to operate without burdening CPU
This list is not concise and full of holes I'm sure. But really not saying there's just one technology above that gives PS5 the advantage, it's the culmination of all of them!
