If Ratchet & Clank showed something and it supposed to be released later than SMM, and later than Destruction All-Star, and later than Kena, and later than Demon souls (based on leaks about the rating)... Then Sony can show a lot of stuff...

OK, so what is the difference between XSX and Ps5, well, I have an easy picture for you of what it is likely to be

The CUs will be same, XSX has more, ps5 they run 20 % faster clock, and likely different Geometry engines...
The shader array has the CU fed by L1.
Blue is the ps5 likely arrangment, 20 % faster clock and feeding 10 CU
Green is XSX, slower clock and feeding 14 CU
Note the PC Big Navi is also rumoured to be L1 feeding 10 CU shader array......
The internal bandwidths feeding teh CUs are just as important if not more important than memory bandwidth (as long as L2 cache is kept busy), and Ps5 will have a much better bandwidth on the silicon chip feeding those CUs.
I believe the larger shader array design of the XSX is the result of the focus on running 4 XB1s games as a server, and hence 4 larger shader arrays and this looks to be the design focus. We will need to see if any PC parts on RDNA2 have larger 14 CU shader arrays, and even then the proof will be in benchmarks..
I would bet my house on ps5 having better utilisation of shaders as a console as its Sonys sole focus, but we await benchmarks and white papers. I am not saying ps5 is stronger, but the difference will be not as you expect coming from the simple 12 > 10 brigade..

I was always a PS fan and bought every console they released, but this has to take the cake for the most dissapointing launch in their history so far. And what makes it worse is the lack of honesty towards the consumer, as in they should just be transparent and say hey guys: "because of COVID; riots; etc. we are unable to release the hardware in the initial timeframe, here is the new date we aim to release it on" , thats it, no less no more.

How else would we be getting the console RT we have seen in native 4k. already... it looks fine for playing unless your analysing reflections in stills, angles and how sharp shadows are etc (which I certainly do not). For general aesthatic for gaming its fine, for the purist maybe not....

facts:
COD does reconstructed up to 1920X2160 (=4147200) down to 1920X1620 (=3110400 pixels) on ps4pro
while xbox mainly does 3840X2160 (=8294400) and only dips down to 3520X1800 (=6336000)
thus offering at all times at least double the image quality
Doom: 50% to 120% percent better resolution and IQ on xbox compared to pro at all times, and with better framerate on xbox too

May I ask how you know this to be a fact? Or are you just guessing here?That's not raytracing either. You can go watch the gameplay segment, and specifically watch at the way the tunnel lights are reflected on the left tip of the bonnet. typical cube mapping.
