Exists a limit about how much lower you can price your device without become a commodity.

In just a couple of months of months you can do something similar in PC as a low tier build because:

-RTX 3050, this probably will be around a 2070 which should be more than XSS
-The CPU of the consoles will be probably the new ryzen 5
-You can find a cheap nvme of 500 GB
-8 GB of RAM should be enough
-The cheapest motherboard and PSU you can find it

And this is a low tier PC with a decent CPU and small but still decent NVME.

In 2 years if you want to build a low tier PC will above this.

We'll see if you can do it all in 2 years at $300. I have my doubts, but we'll see.

It seems as if it is being overlooked that the series s also supports VRS, ML upsampling, and Sampler feedback. These technologies are implemented at a hardware level with the sole purpose of allowing the machines to punch above their weight. I think the little fella is going to surprise some people.
