Xbox One X and Xbox One S: All-Digital Edition are both discontinued, but there will be some stores that still have them in stock. Discontinuing them doesn't make previously existing inventory disappear into thin air.
So, worst case scenario, a clueless parent walks into a store, with only "new Xbox" in mind, and their choices are:
Xbox One S - 500 GB/1 TB/2 TB (4K Output and HDR Supported)- $299/$349/$399
Xbox Series S - 500 GB (4K Output and HDR Supported) - $299
Xbox Series X - 1 TB (8K Output and HDR Supported) - $499
Xbox One S: All-Digital Edition - 1 TB (4K Output and HDR Supported) - $249
Xbox One X - 1 TB (4K Output and HDR Supported) - $399
They're going stare at the selection looking like:

Or, alternatively, they'll go into the shop and ask for the console where little Billy can play "That new Spiderman game" and be given two options; with or without a diskdrive.
