While true, I do think the cache scrubbers will help a great deal with bandwidth and there may be other surprises in store as well. Additionally, it's important to note that Godfall uses Unreal Engine 4 and although they've done some work to make data streaming work better in the engine it won't be at its peak until Unreal Engine 5 comes out.

From these teams, yeah, I don't expect Gran Turismo 8 until PS6 is released, lol. But for example, Sony has being partnering with external devs like Sumo Digital, Housemarque, Bluepoint and others so I think the entire gen they will keep doing that plus the games their internal studios develop. I get that probably after this first year the releases will slow down a little but the potential is there, partnering with "second party" studios and growing their existing ones like the rumored Guerilla's second team.

Umm, we are talking about Godfall and I'm not sure if Counterplay Games is under Ubisoft. The developer states clearly in the AMD promotion video that they are using DirectX 12 Ultimate and FidelityFX features.

the goal is to achieve higher clock rates (gpu or cpu) while also maintaining thermal limits
mainly due to the cpu almost never being fully utilized (power/thermal), which the GPU can use when needed, instead of being static
the boost clock rates can typically be maintained, due to the unlikely event of cpu/cores being pegged during a game (this is how a benchmarking app might behave though), but also in the event the thermal limit is not met

What is the purpose or point in you trying to use his words in a way that distorts their meaning? Are you unable to understand the shortcomings of fixed clock systems - that he painstakingly explained to us all in the Road to Ps5? Or are you intentionally failing to acknowledge the shortcomings?

Saying it is "captured on PS4" when they literally said it was used in a render farm style, ie rendering probably single digit frames per minute, shows that simply saying "footage captured on xxxxxx" is not proof that it is in-game footage. Am I saying that all the PS5 footage wasn't "in game"? No. All I was saying is that you can't just point to some text they've overlaid on the video as definitive proof, because I could post a video of a XB1 game and overlay "capture on a Super Nintendo Entertainment System" on it, and that doesn't mean it's true.
Uncharted 4s trailer was 60fps using rendering techniques that their engine literally could not do in real time. That was a complete lie, a complete misrepresentation of the game. Halo Infinite.........I'm not sure how that even comes into this discussion?

You're kinda wrong, that's called 'race to idle' ps5 won't boost frequencies meaninglessly such as this. It will boost clocks only when both cpu or gpu having a meaningful works and productive. Cpu will boost clocks when the game needs super intensive processing then it will throttled back when its not needed. Same goes for gpu. But gpu will spend more time at max frequencies due to having more power budget and games needs rendering.
