What probably happened is in 2018, the site was still ramping up. So assuming all the stakeholders had full disclosure of the traffic and financials (assuming Cerium even disclosed that to all owners), it probably looked half crappy at the time. So he bought them out cheap knowing things would ramp up later and the ultimate kicker being a take over price at the end.

I never got banned from resetera but I stopped posting there after I got jumped on and a mod warning for saying after months of black on black teen shootings in my city with the one episode at a party where around 15 or so highschool bystandards got shot that there needs to be a conversation within that community about the violence for their childrens sake. It was in a thread about the increase of shootings and gun violence in black communities. It wasnt random or out of context it just wasnt the narritive they wanted to hear I guess. So i just stopped posting there lol.

The funny thing is week later the community leaders echoed the same statement and also separated themselves from the BLM organization.
