It seems the CPU has been throttled hugely to save the heat and battery.

I'm having a hard time understanding that so many seem fine with settling for the 8GB just to get the phone as fast as possible, if what you really wanted was the 16GB. Ok, I get that you don't want to wait for what could be weeks for another opportunity to order the phone, but 5GB of storage (that's what you'll get with the 8GB) is gonna be a lot more limiting than 13GB.

But if you're happy with that, good for you!

So Straight Talk is the best prepaid option for the AT&T network? I would try T-Mobile but they only show as having 2G in town (and they don't have signal at all, not even voice out in the rural areas here like where my aunts/uncles live). AT&T network is shown as having 3G & at least a basic service signal everywhere.

Yup, I called my local Tmo, and they said 10 am tomorrow. They didn't know the price. I was afraid they were going to sell it for way more than google play store price, reason I didn't go with them.
