I only like listening to Bears postgame coverage after losses. There is nothing more wildly entertaining than listening to Ed and Doug rip the team after bad games. Radio gets pretty heated here, but I can't compare it to Philly because I have no frame of reference.

Thank God they never have to play Flacco or Schaub. They have had to play scrubs like Brees and Rivers. True, they haven't beaten the caliber of QB the Steelers have, but how many teams have to play a murderers row like Tarvaris Jackson, Curtis Painter, Matt Hasselbeck, Blaine Gabbert and Kevin Kolb? I mean, that's a once in a decade stretch of talent the Steelers have had to deal with.

They will be 13 or 14-0 and having wrapped home field a month before they will rest their starters and their scrubs will go 1-1 before they are one and done in the playoffs (with like 100 flukey things going against them only to see some bullshit 4th quarter drive by someone like Vick to end their season which will include at least miracle play, like maybe a running play who knows).

Everything has happened before and will happen again.

The Steelers on the other are in great shape. We will be fighting for that 5th or 6th seed with the Bungles. And as we all know, wild cards are where champions are born. Thanks Ravens. When we beat you in Baltimore for the championship we won't forget this favor.

I was watching a bit of this game on Rewind to see how Tebow did. And yeah, the option totally had the Raiders in knots. The Raiders should have seen it coming, but it still can be pretty hard to get in good practice reps against an offense that isn't run very often in the NFL. Looks like running more of his old college offense made Tebow more comfortable as well. He was still crazy inaccurate, but he did actually squeeze in some nice throws today.

I actually kinda want Denver to bring onboard Paul Johnson from Georgia Tech to coach and just try to roll out the triple option if they are going to stick with Tebow. As far as I can recall on of the big arguments against it was that valuable QBs would get dinged, but Tebow is built like a truck so I don't see that as a problem here. And from what I've seen I just don't see him as ever being accurate enough to pass from the pocket full time. Might as well let him do what he does best. Plus the triple option relies heavily on cut blocking, something that the Broncos used to be pretty good at as I recall.

Cool. Thankfully there is no team with both a good running game and a good quarterback tis year. So far, the Packers have beaten the third best quarterback in football and the best running back in football. They have beaten a great defense and dynamic unknown rookies.

There is no mythical complete team for the Packers to beat. They don't exist. The Packers are built pretty perfectly to win football games in the 2011 NFL. If they had Nick Collins I'd say they would potentially be historically good. As it is, they are good enough for this year. 14-2 is gonna feel gooooood.

It's in NY. And the Giants are that rare team that play up to their competition, which is good for them given the rest of their schedule.

They play the Bears and Lions the last two weeks of the season. There is a real chance that even if the Packers are undefeated those games might have implications.

Plus, the 49ers are the second greatest team in history (such a historic year!) so the Packers will have to win to ensure home field advantage.

Every team can be beaten.

Even in a down year for the rest of the league, the Packers can and will slip up this year. My lowly Panthers almost had them down 17-0 through a quarter.
